STV and all, one should still be wary of putting shoo-in candidates first... they get a sizable portion of the vote, often a half or more, that could be better spent influencing the outcome of the fight for #3.
(Apropos of Law election)
Example: jimsug got 41% of my vote. Of the 59% left, feetwet got 33%. That left only 40% of the vote for Zizouz.
I wonder how voting would be if it only took 15 rep or so to vote

@Oded I fixed the url there, not sure what happened
I should have checked the link. I think I had a ] there before linking - probably threw off the parse.
Thanks for fixing, @rene
@Oded Did you guys ever intend for people to max out all review queues on any given day?
Because atm, depending on what you get to review, thats impossible
I doubt it is intentional. I'd expect there to be limits on each and every queue - so people are forced to take a break.
10:36 AM
@Oded Oh, there are
But if you do 40 CV reviews, it can mean that midway through triage reviews you ran out of close votes, and then you can't review triage to its daily limit
Same for votes with first posts and late answers
Also if you're vote-capped.
Ah - that's lots of features that come together in an unexpected way. But... if it forces one off the queue (and the queue doesn't just keep growing), that's not really a problem.
Treat it as a signal to stop reviews ;)
Where is my god now? :(
The only queue that's a problem there is the close votes queue. And even that is oh so much better than it used to be.

And if your pointer is hand while mouseover on text, then when you click post is expanded and pointer become text-selector BUT for the last 4th post "Why is my avatar not showing correctly?" it is hand instead of text-selector and remains hand (you've to click title)

@Shog9 thanks. Is it 40 on all sites except SO?
@ShadowWizard Currently 40 everywhere but SO (where it's 200) and Japanese (where it's 50).

@ShadowWizard Not only on Meta but 40*156. ;)
@Shog9 sorry to nag but... Japanese as in Japanese Language, or Japanese.SO?

I'd suggest that documenting exceptions like that is probably a waste of time
@Shog9 oh. Why? People want to know...
Hey Shog, Shadow. Thanks for looking into this! Shadow, if you feel so inclined, edit the FAQ here
It's not like it's changing every day. @Shog (so when it's changing, just need to edit)
@JAL yeah, plan on doing that.
9:16 PM
cool, thanks!
@Shog9 thanks for your help on retrocomputing as well!
@ShadowWizard I have no idea why it's 50 on that site. If you can find that out, it might be worth adding a note.
@JAL np
@Shog9 you have better chance of finding by asking those who might actually know... ;)
(e.g. ask in your super secret chat room :))
@ShadowWizard I honestly don't care very much. Presumably they ran into a problem at some point in the long distant past, and that fixed it...
Right now, I'd suggest it's enough to know that,
1) It *can* be changed per-site if needed
2) The default is 40
9:19 PM
@Shog9 sounds like a fair reason. But still, just knowing it's 50 even without knowing why is good enough and better than not knowing at all.
If you wanna add a list of exceptions, ok, but... No guarantees anyone will maintain that.
@Shog9 of course, it wasn't maintained for years. (the default was never edited to be 40)
...which it probably has been for a very long time
