I'm looking for a Java OCR that runs on Android, however Asprise doesn't seem to be a platform independent OCR. is there any opensource/free Java OCR I can use for android application development?
Hmmm, so that DNS was used after all! We did some cleanup yesterday on the stackexchange.com zone.
A build updating it to the correct qa.sockets.stackexchange.com is going out now, should be working shortly.

what to do with revealed interview questions on Stack Overflow? It should not have been disclosed in the first place in certain cases that I am aware of because I got into the same situation, and I can say this for sure.
the tricky part is reporting an accident like that however... you cannot reveal the question, but on the other hand you would - at least partially - confirm to the SE team, it is, even if you do not mention the client.
that kind of enforces me not to even report it, and leave the responsibility with the author.
Im 17 and my goal is to work my way up to becoming a software engineer.
I completed an apprenticeship in IT Support and now work full time as IT Engineer for a software company.
My question consists of a few parts:

This question appears to be off-topic because it shows no prior research nor minimal understanding of the problem being solved — Marcin Orlowski18 mins ago
@JanDvorak let me step back, why is your user script trying to access websockets in the first place? They have a very specific purpose which is already in those pages — Nick Craver ♦5 mins ago
@MarcinOrlowski There is no need to write your custom message to close this question because it is already comes in this category This question appears to be off-topic because it lacks sufficient information to diagnose the problem. — TGMCians2 mins ago
@TGMCians it's not his own reason, I guess he did not agree with the decision to remove that reason so he keeps using it on his own. Legal, but smelly. I say let him, if that's what makes him feel good and keep closing what needs to be closed.
Here is said userscript: meta.stackoverflow.com/questions/193646. I chose websockets over scraping the page for variety of reasons. One is that I thought it would hold more information than the page (say, a longer snippet). The other was of performance: MutationObservers were not well supported in web browsers back then, nor were mutation events (they also killed performance. the the MO support is better now, but I don't want to rewrite this part just because I can), and polling the page for changes felt conceptuallly wrong. It's obvious to us now that there is some spam fighting going on by the community. But if you just implemented the site, you might not have thought of that application.
@JanDvorak we have greatly improved the spam blocking since then, and are about to do another round of improvements, is this an issue anymore? Obviously from my side you can see the concern: I want to fix spam appearing for all users rather than fix a script made to hide it for a few. — Nick Craver ♦43 secs ago
@Doorknob, I know exactly what "help" means in this cummunity. "just trying to help", gee. Just trying to mob and act stupid. — davidkonrad4 mins ago
Well, that escalated quickly.
@davidkonrad You realize that insulting the people who are volunteering their time to try to help you understand isn't the best strategy for getting an answer? Show me one specific comment that you think is "mobbing" or "stupid." — Doorknob1 min ago
@davidkonrad I've added my downvote just for your attitude in the comments (on the answer below). Others may have downvoted because they disagree with your statement - that's how votes on meta work. — Doorknob48 secs ago
@rene Sometimes behavior indicates the way in which the original post was meant. I mean if someone comes to meta and makes a post which is all "why did this happen?" and then all the comments are "It SHOULD not have HAPPENED. You're morons!" then it reveals what the original post actually meant to state. I'm not going to edit the post to make it reflect that the OP actually meant but I'm going to read it in that light and vote accordingly.
As I see it, it is not "punishment". I'm just voting in the same way as if the OP had put their entire thought in their post in the first place.
I agree with that. Leaving comment though that addresses the behaviour of the OP as a reason for a downvote feels wrong for me. Leaving a comment like 'reading the post and all your comments justifies a downvote' or something like that....
@Doorknob I agree with @rene on this one, we should not downvote a question just because the OP insulted us in comments. That's NOT the purpose of downvotes. If the insults are in the question/answer itself then we should edit them out. In comments, flag and move on.
There is a saying too "smart person won't get himself into a trouble that intelligent person can solve" so sometimes better be smart and not be lured into a fight. :)
@rene think we need a beer (or coffee!) when we agree, icecream is reserved when we disagree :D
I am getting downvoted because I constantly "insult" others with technical feedback and downvotes. Only a very few keep improving their posts, and get +1 from me after that. It is mostly up to them. Anyway, this is implicitly encouraged by the Stack Overflow policies.
Sometimes I think I should reframe my profile picture because people who look at it quickly might think erroneously that it is my middle finger which is up in the air.
