Worked fine before, so it's some issue with the latest Chrome dev release.

We originally were pulling in the whole actual script, and now I embedded it with the same result.

I think Chrome is screwing up the scope or something, I'll have to investigate more.

A: Any soft release dates for Stack Overflow chat?

Well, to be fair to the OP, Stack Overflow is the only place where we do not have chat house ads enabled -- which increases the visibility of chat substantially.

I think it'll be ok. CSTheory will go first, and that will be a smaller one. It may not even go the full hour as I'm told they don't really use chat, so who knows who will show up. @RebeccaChernoff Here's what I'm thinking as a possible alternative, and keep in mind I am just brainstorming: Maybe two rooms, one a gallery where only the candidates can talk, and a second a free-for-all. Everyone joins both rooms, and the questions get asked by everyone in the free-for-all, and you (or other mods) ask them one by one, by moving them, in the gallery...

This would allow each candicate to address each question once in the gallery, and then discussion to happen in the open room

but, it will be possibly more confusing and thus less will participate :-(
