How to solve lim x->@inf (1+a^x)^(1/x)?
[ SmokeDetector ] Bad keyword in body, Blacklisted website: I hope you're overweight her hope hookup from more by jimmydon on drupal.stackexchange.com

@bjb568 is a>1 or a<1?
Oh, I guess it matters. >1
user259867
If 0<a<1, the base tends to 1. If a=1, it stays at 2. In both cases the limit is 1.
user259867
05:04
But if a>1, then a^x dominates. Factor it out: a^x*(1+a^{-x})
this math syntax is confusing me
y no mathjaxyscript
user259867
@bjb568 Okay... multiply and divide the formula by a. Move division inside.

A: Why should you validate forms using javascript?

JesPHP runs serverside, javascript runs clientside. You don't want your server crunching form validation when you can get the clients computer to do so. Plus it saves bandwidth.

Sad trombone.

@ManishMenaria no, of-course newbies can ask questions on SO. Everybody started as a newbie here. But, before you ask a question, please just make sure that your question follows the guidelines. — DroidDev 15 secs ago

The question is how do I bind java to run in a single thread? THE ANSWER IS NOT 'USE AN ANONYMOUS INNER CLASS'....
Hmm, if that code is working, then shouldn't it be posted on CR instead?
It's more of code improvement, or am I wrong?
No, the question is asking essentially how to bind the JVM to only run on a single thread
which AFAIK is a Sisyphean task
that sounds like a bad idea

Q: Can we use something other than reputation as the bottleneck for election primaries?

AstroCBWe recently began the sixth moderator election on Stack Overflow. There is a huge number of highly qualified candidates, and there are 23 overall at the time of this writing. That's great, but there's this to consider: After 7 days, the top 30 nominees, ordered by reputation, advance to the ...

In any case, changing the rules of the game after it began would be unwise, imo.

@bummi last flag given
@ProgramFOX thanks, an idea about aviation? Cache?
@pizza It says 30 candidates for #5, but it says 30/55 for #1, so I assumed it would have said "30/X" if >30 were nominated originally.
@bummi I have never seen the Aviation one.
