@TheRenamedException My thoughts are that you don't need to worry about it. I think the purpose of PA DSS is to make sure that the person who uses the software can't screw things up, which becomes unnecessary if no one else handles the software besides you (given that you're already PCI compliant). But, I don't deal with online merchanting, so it's possible I could be wrong.
So the fun commences ya'll, I get to move my dev environment and other settings across the network to a Win7 box from XP... any tips/advice/should I make a post on SU?
@TheRenamedException Yeah, that's understandable. We have some things that we're always worried about people grilling us about, and it's hard to convince them that what they're talking about is really a non-issue sometimes.

@TimStone you know that there are two different profile types on windows networks right? Vista (NT6) changed the format from XP (NT5) and I recall that the same basic thing happened with NT5's release but I forget now (cos I was a wee lad when that happened)
So all my profile stuff is lost as it were, I don't remember where all the dev env stuff is stored, I'm nervous what I'll lose, I'm nervous what I'll forget, I don't know how long this box will last before giving up the ghost
it's almost a SF question (user profiles on an NT network) but it's also an SU question (profile in general, files on computer) and it's almost an SO question (dev tools) so should I post it on MSO and let the WoM determine my destination?

I'm a dev on Visual Studio, I have 2005, 2008 and 2010 installed atm, along with VB6, and SqlServer Dev 2005, 2008 installed as well, not to mention various and sundry developer's tools like Notepad++ and ReSharper and Reflector....
If it gets migrated I guess that's my bad, but there is stuff about migrating profiles on SF. Though generally it's more of a "I need to migrate everyone's profile", but..
