@Uniforms probably yes flag a post with a custom flag, I think a bit of language in a user's profile is OK but not the name because everyone sees it when viewing posts
@UniformsForSale Are you going to flag all of these too?
Aug 14 at 1:46, by Mysticial
And if someone legitimately takes offense to casual use of the word "fuck", the internet is probably not the best place for them.

I think there was something in the meta about this.
Can't really find anything official but here's a related post: meta.stackexchange.com/questions/117596/…

Ummm ok
Maybe it's something found a lot in the Stack Overflow em Português's spam.
I thought it would have Portuguese origin.
@ProgramFOX Checking through the logs, I think the gratis check is causing a lot of FPs nowadays (spammers seem to have moved on)

UndoWhen I try to use the mod link in the right-hand side of the review queue (close votes in this case), the mod menu is all greyed out and weird. Compare a 'normal' menu on a post: And one from review: It almost looks like the options are disabled, but they aren't. This is disorientin...

@SmokeDetector Incredibly broad question right there
@KevinBrown The irony, last sentence in question is "Please be specific if possible"

What a surprise I can write another text successfully but only not that?
posted here instead:
Oh! Here also unable to post that text!!!!
@Pandya That room must be loading something your internet can't (or hasn't) load. Oh!
That's weird.
@Pandya I'd make a joke about governments blocking "freedoms", but it'd be awful if that was really the case here
Try yourself to post this ; can you?
Correction: I want to say freedoms 0 and 2 are important for them, And 1 and 3 seems meaningless as I explained

Q: 10 Million Questions - Let's Share Some Stories That the Number Doesn't Convey

Tim PostIt's easy to look at numbers; numbers tell us that billions of developers have been helped by what we built. That alone is very warming and makes us feel exceptionally great about what we're doing, wouldn't it be nice to take a little time on a Friday to share some stories that the numbers can't ...

Wait . . . Type out the message without copy-pasting it @Pan and tell me what you have.

@inɒzɘmɒЯ.A.M I've recently tried that also with failure!

@KevinBrown I know it's been a problem for some time. I'd like to try salvaging a weak keyword with a length restriction, for example ^.{0,42}gratis.{0,42}$
So that it would still match titles and short posts.
False positive are not very short, are they? Undecided on the length to put in.
Maybe 100 left and right. If this doesn't help, then the keyword is unsalvageable.

Isn't it odd that chat notifications propagate to sites (sometimes), but site notifications are never shown in chat?
It doesn't seem too complicated to implement, there's already a websocket for inbox.
It's odd when I get pinged in the main site for a chat message I've replied to an hour ago.
@NormalHuman Not disagreeing with the idea, but where would you put the notification in chat?
@Andy Outside the computer screen.
Maybe also in a corner of the profile icon, where chat notifications and flags already appear, distinguished by colors. Perhaps in another corner.
4:34 PM
I'm talking just about a notification "you have something unread", not the actual text.
Also, I had some success with putting extra information in the sidebar column of the chat, above the room name: new text pushes down the content of that column. Not a great design, but perfectly functional.
4:45 PM
@TimStone , Thanks!
FTR, looks like it lasted about 5.5 hours.

Yeah, they posted it not too long after I went to sleep (of course)

Does anyone know JavaScript? I'm trying to make a countdown.
So my question is how to set a data with a given time zone
@Moshe If you have some Date/time target in mind, you can convert it into millisecond count with Date.parse, and then compare the result of Date.now() to determine how much time is left.

@bjb568 knows javascript ^^

Threw a tantrum once, but this isn't a reason to keep them blacklisted.
we really need to work together on these lists
@SmokeDetector weird, why was that pushed up?
8:06 PM
@Braiam All I can tell is that the user was active at the time it got pushed, but aside from that I can't find the trigger
Why was I "invited to join this chat"?
@HDE226868 it was me! I was saying that was a good question! It could act as a signpost! :)
@ᔕᖺᘎᕊ It was a dupe, though.
dupes aren't necessarily bad... but I guess it's your choice!

Just use this as a signpost:
Q: Should 'best answer' be replaced with 'helpful answer'?

ProgramFOXWhen you hover with your mouse on the green accept mark on an answer, you get the tooltip The question owner accepted this as the best answer Shouldn't it be: The question owner accepted this answer as helpful Because on the StackOverflow About Page, you can read: Accepting does...

Literally the same wording.
lol ok I +1'd that anyway...
Same here. . .
@HDE226868 btw does the notification not say who invited you??
@ᔕᖺᘎᕊ It says nothing, which is odd.
That is odd... I'd have thought it would at least say my username!
8:18 PM
It was literally just

The about/team page got redesigned: stackexchange.com/about/team
hmm... I'm gonna check if there's a feature request somewhere
@NormalHuman nice! It looks much better than before! :)
8:33 PM
Why do they even bother editing spam into posts as an anonymous user?
That's even less productive than posting a new question, as the only people that will see it are the three reviewers clicking reject.
@durron597 I guess they hope they get approved... which is unlikely to happen even while there's sometimes one robo-reviewer who actually approves such a spam edit.
@durron597 Oh... I thought you were talking about SO. No, on MSE I don't think there are any robos around.
@ProgramFOX exactly
