02:43
You know what they always say about asking that...
I'll fill it in before @Kevin does: if you have to ask, probably not.
Depends though @DavidYoung -- what do you mean by appropriate?
That was probably the wrong way to word that, ha. In particular, someone is asking about importing Haskell code to be used in Coq, so that they can prove theorems about it. I don't know whether this is possible (I think that it is not, but I'm not an expert on the subject), but there is a system that is designed for proving theorems about Haskell code. I was wondering if it would be appropriate to mention this in a comment on the question
For full disclosure, I work on this project for my job
Probably appropriate, but put the disclosure in your comment. Is it open source?
Yeah, it's entirely open source
and free
@DavidYoung can we see the question?
I mean, if it's an answer, you should post an answer instead...
It's not an answer, unfortunately. The question is about Coq specifically
yep, that's what I was thinking
So that seems like it should be ok?
Yeah, as long as you include the disclosure
02:52
Cool. Thanks everyone!
Hey.
03:05
@DavidYoung Oh yeah, that should be fine. I'd be a little wary if it was commercial (paid), but free & open source should be fine.
