[ SmokeDetector ] Bad keyword in body, blacklisted website in body: Not necessary to dissemble them burn by David Beals10 on stackoverflow.com

@TinyGiant If I understand what you mean by "try...code" answers, then those are valid answers. They're not as good as answers that explain the solution to the OP typically, but nothing needs to be done about them.

user259867
@TinyGiant I think focusing on the user doesn't help. As you come across those answers, leave a comment suggesting adding some explanation, where appropriate. Some code is pretty self-explanatory.

Agreed. Better answers, if there are any, should float to the top over time.
Additionally, I have often seen that the existence of answers like that are a somewhat-strong indicator that the quality of the question is questionable.

4:01 AM
Most of his answers that I've read so far are on poor quality questions. And close together, like rapid fire answers hoping for upvotes from passersby. But I guess you're right. I'll just continue downvoting all answers that follow that format.

Some days I just feel like an idiot for overthinking something. All this time I've wanted people to get more involved in meta on SOjp, and have been racking my brain trying to make it happen through some form of magic. The actual magic recipe? Lowering the rep requirement to 1, and featuring the post saying I've done it. 4 days, 5 new meta posts. Mind-boggling.

user259867
Hopefully, not all of those were spam. Meta sites are not covered by the 155 websocket

user259867
Neither is ja.SO itself for that matter... the only exception.

ugh, true
@1999 Is it not in the 155 socket or are we dropping it in Smokey?

user259867

@Undo Not in the socket. I log all posts that go through there. Nothing from ja.SO, ever.

Anyway, I'm not really worried about meta-spam; even with no rep threshold one still has to create an account on the main site. Going from there to a different site, with much less traffic, is not an attractive spam option.
