don't waste votes plz

Especially precious del votes.

user259867
^ yes, those. Not to be used on roomba-able questions. And those with 20K should avoid LQRQ until using up delete votes.

maybe there should be a 10 commandments for advanced users? that would contain this useful info

user259867
s/advanced users/meta police/

1. Use all your votes. And don't waste any.
2. Don't use LQRQ until after using votes.
3. QUIT SHARING ON CHAT MY DELETED META POSTS, RLY!
4. You better be responsive with delv reqs.
5. When reviewing answers, consider whether or not the question can be deleted.
6. Don't handle my chat flags badly.
7. YOU ARE ACTUALLY SUPPOSED TO LOOK FOR PLAGIARISM IN TAG WIKI EDITS!
8. You're not better. Act like you're not.
9. Screenshot the deleted post on meta.
10. Stop rep whoring.

But 3 helps ur deleted meta posts get undeleted, if roomba takes them.

I'm talking about the ones where deleted comments make things go out of context and everything is skewed in their favor because of gang voting and meta harassment.
Yes, that happens when chat.so rooms are involved.

user259867
Then replace 3 with "ignore chat.so rooms".

@bjb568 that's not even a real word?

In linguistics, prescription or prescriptivism is the practice of championing one variety or manner of speaking of a language against another. It may imply a view that some forms are incorrect, improper, illogical, lack communicative effect, or are of low aesthetic value. Sometimes it is informed by linguistic purism. These normative practices may address such aspects of language use as spelling, grammar, semantics, pronunciation, and syntax. Linguistic prescriptivism includes judgments on what usages are socially proper and politically correct. Its aims may be to establish a standard language...

@bjb568 If I create a hat, and then create an entire fashion line after that hat becomes popular, do we say that I modeled the hat to be in my fashion or that my fashion line was modeled after my hat?

user259867
@bjb568 First came SO. Later came the idea to create SF and SU, which were modeled after SO. Then came the idea to sell the platform as service (SE 1.0). It led to a few decent projects, but for the most part was not a success. After that, Area 51 was created, heralding the era of SE 2.0.
