I love the design, and I don't see a problem with it looking somewhat like TeX... What's the reason why that would be a bad thing? The big block of text in the middle differentiates.
@YiJiang Ah, I didn't read the answers. I definitely don't think it looks so much like TeX that they're easy to confuse, it just seemed like a similar concept (the horizontal lines ending in symbols wrapping the title)
@MarcGravell I think it was that I was looking at meta.E.SE instead of E.SE and I didn't see the linked accounts and then /facepalm'd that the SE metas are different than meta.SO
@MichaelMrozek how long does it take to setup an account and have all the features (like +100 on association) show up. A lot of times those things are run on like 15minute scripts

When people quote others, it is common practice to add a source or attribution of the original speaker. When you select text and hit the quote button, there should be a pop-up that asks for an optional attribution. The attribution should be added and formatted in some way as well.

@Moshe The issue as @TimStone found is the cookie is HTTPonly so we can't get it using javascript. Which is a Good Thing, just makes my XMPP life much more difficult
