On the other hand, the stars look like they're next to my message, so I'm happy.
@3ventic The flag, star, reply buttons that appear on hover. They appear too far up, and don't stay there long enough for you to mouse over and click them.

Why @BlueIce? If someone writes `code``code`, then if backticks would have precedence, how would SE know whether it should be rendered as codecode or as code``code?
I could really need some help i´m going crazy i can´t find the solution.
I made an app like that one:
http://www.androidhive.info/2012/02/android-gridview-layout-tutorial/
It´s working fine BUT
What i would like to do is to share the picture what is in fullscreen with whatsapp for example.

I have a WPF user control that is inserted inside an Actions Pane,
in a Excel Workbook project.
For some reason the image is properly displayed in the WPF user control,
but it is not shown at all in the Actions Pane.
I found this strange thing. If the image is specified with absolute path then

@JasonC I doubt it. Excel is always cornercase but as the OP is claiming somehting is working or not with WPF involved the OP either has a build a com-component or is using VSTO or worse: both.
Many good questions generate some degree of opinion based on expert experience, but answers to this question will tend to be almost entirely based on opinions, rather than facts, references, or specific expertise.
I propose that the words "or specific expertise" be removed.
after several enc...
The question on SO that sparked all this was maybe a better candidate for programmers.se or dba.se if the OP added details about which part of the storage structure made him jump to his conclusion.
Do we need tags per hosting provider on SO like site5 which is created by a 10K-er on this question
@Louis You know, I actually see where that guy is coming from because I thought the same thing about that specific wording as soon as he posted his original question (before this proposal). At the same time, it was more of "oh, I can see why he misinterpreted it, but come on, it's pretty clear to most other people...".
I tried to put a constructive answer there but it ended up just being vague rambling. We'll see how long it lasts.
@JasonC I don't get even the milder parts of his proposal but then there's this "any or all types of questions related to sciences or fields that have not yet been COMPLETELY discovered and defined should be banned".
@JasonC And I see you asked Robert what pickles are best. Dijkstra's "Pickles Considered Harmful" paper is the definitive work on the topic of pickles and whether programmers should use them. (No link at the moment.)
How can I share a single MDF between two projects in Visual Studio efficiently?
I know I can install it to the local db store, but I prefer to keep the MDF as part of a test package for sharing to the other devs until we get past initial greenfield on this solution.
I've got a Windows Service t...
I have to fill a n times m matrix with integers using vectors, the problem is that i never used vectors.Could you explain me how to do this properly?
An example would be:
0 10 5 6 8
1 2 3 5 6
9 9 9 9 9
I have the feeling stackoverflow.com/questions/22921413/… is off-topic but I don't know which reason to pick. It's basically asking how to disassemble a dll-like file.
I'm willing to bet, without guessing, that date('updated at 3:29:48 PM EDT on 4/7/2014') gives you something usable. And if it doesn't, and you're writing a scraper, you just write a regex to scrape the crap you want
First: Congrats on graduating! I love the new design (kudos to the designers) overall.
However, this has been bugging me:
Notice how 'tomorrow' is ever so slightly smaller than 'ends'? It turns out that it's specified to 11 point font, while the 'ends' is in 12 pt font. Can we please do this?
I think the Hot Network Questions list should exclusively show questions from aviation.se. Every time I read a question there I find some awesome answer to a question I had no idea I had.
The majority of exoplanets found so far are comparable in size to Jupiter or Saturn. Which, as we know, are problematic for human habitation. But their moons have a lot of potential.
Some of these large exoplanets are in the Goldilocks zone. Given what we know about the moons of Jupiter & Satu...
A friend of mine told me that I would get an Achievement if I managed to lick the plane that's flying around in the world but, he won't tell me how to get close to it.
I tried many different things. Jumping on trampolines won't get me high enough, and the only thing that looks high enough is the...
It's not just Aviation SE. Code golf: In as few characters as possible, lick a plane. Code review: Is my plane licking good enough? StackOverflow: I liked a plane, but didn't get the lick-a-plane achievement. What am I missing? Programmers: Is licking a plane an antipattern? Workplace: My boss circulated a memo restating the company policy against plane-licking. Should I quit now, or in two weeks? DIY: Not a hand plane? … etc — kojiro2 days ago
Basically you guys are telling all of us FU, you're not smart enough for us. I will henceforth make EVERY effort to avoid SO altogether. All you Sheldon Coopers can then just smart each other off. — user30234642 mins ago
" I will henceforth make EVERY effort to avoid SO altogether." We've got a bit of an underachiever here. How about "I will henceforth devote all my energies to building a site that will bury SO INTO TEH GROUND! My site will be AWESOME and be THE site for Q&A."
I dunno, SO search results appear on Google immediately, and the cache was created within 2 minutes of the post.
I wonder if that whole thing yesterday was triggered by animuson's anti-voting-ring quest. Perhaps he had some accounts involved in that and was sad about it.
@jcolebrand I glanced at it. Guess my cursory search wasn't helpful. That's all the effort I was willing to put in. Be patient, you only asked it a few hours ago. :)
@JasonC a) most posts get answers within minutes or languish, b) balpha is one of the first people I would listen to on something like this, c) I described the question so much better than your answer even pretended that it was obvious you didn't bother the minimum amount of effort, thus it was a non-answer, thus it was useless.
And even at that point, I knew Balpha was unlikely to have seen the question in the first place
@jcolebrand Which is precisely why I posted it in chat and not as an answer. You are not entitled to my effort. You're a mod on DBA you should know how this works. In any case, what I was about to type just now is, is it perhaps possible to specify a full / relative path to your data source?
Yeah; that's all I can think of too, but disclaimer: My experience with VS development is limited, I haven't done any Windows-specific stuff in a very long time.
I'll let you know if I come across something, though. Always good to file VS tips away for future reference anyways.
