Yeah, I got an error in execution too, but that's happened to queries that previously didn't have any issues, so I think it may just be the most recent build.

(note that the error contents have absolutely no relevance to the query being run, and have to do with declaring your userId automagically)

A: Developing multiple user interfaces for an application

One reason I can see where this approach would be useful if I want my application to be available on desktop, mobile, text, command line, and Web UIs. Also asking someone why they want something is counterproductive.

Oh weird I just noticed something. If a user suggests an edit, then changes their edit in the grace period, it changes the edit that was already reviewed (it's still questionable but the original version only removed one of the commas).

not everyone has 10K.

(nor does everyone check that queue every couple of minutes)

and actually I like dealing more with 10K- user since they tolerate link-only answers less.

I do not know why but crappy posts got "deemed invalid" a lot from 10K+ users.

The "invalid"s usually seem on point to me. Right now I only see 2 invalid flags and they're both fairly reasonable.

I have three working queries that can tell how many badges of a certain type all the users on the site have. For instance, this is the Bronze version:

I have similar ones for Silver and Gold. How the heck do I combine them so that I get all three badge types in separate columns? Been trying out stuff from SO all afternoon, and totally baffled as to how it actually works.

I went through a dozen different SO questions, all of which seemed to suggest you couldn't use a WHERE IN with a CASE statement. You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar!

@JasonC For reasons beyond my comprehension, there is no query that does that right now. Shockingly amazing stuff. You are a true SQL savant from where I sit.

@jmac "a IN b" is a generic search condition; at least in T-SQL, and in MySQL too.

@JasonC I'm not SQL-literate, I just fiddle around with what I see other queries doing, and try to fill in the gaps with a search engine and SO, but all of the attempts to do this failed me miserably in this case.

@jmac Sometimes it's helpful to mess around in sqlfiddle.com. I'm pretty intermediate level SQL myself; it's fun to learn though. I think so anyways.

@Qantas94Heavy It's usually also an indication of crappy questions if somebody felt duplicate answers worked for all of them.

There's nothing wrong with duplicate answers I don't think, if they're all right. But I upvoted the answer on stackoverflow.com/questions/20476010/… and marked the other questions as duplicates of that.
