@SonictheAnonymousHedgehog your terminology is confusing and somewhat convoluted. If you're only talking about MSE mods, say that rather than saying something longer with a link that is only clear when you follow it. That link only relates to MSE but you use a plural that implies there are many different sites with those sorts of appointments.

@Catija I don't know whether the terms for Stack Apps and Ask Patents mods are for life or not, so I assumed they'd be like MSE's. For instance, there's a mod on Stack Apps who hasn't moderated in a while, but still gets to retain their status.

I think the only difference on whether or not the MSE mods would be considered pro-tem or not would be for stepping down. Pro-tem mods who step down can't reclaim the diamond, whereas elected mods can.

@Magisch The tag wiki for faq says it's about the what, how, where, and when across the SE network.

Funny thing, posting in a room frozen for inactivity doesn't unfreeze the room. I had to tell this to someone here a while ago. :)

He said "(1) Tuesday, 4:52pm, userXYZ posted a question on Meta" , "(2) Tuesday, 4:56pm, rene closed the question" "(3) Tuesday, 4:57pm, userXYZ got angry and wrote the following comments..."

He had access to information that I didn't know people had. Such as deleted comments.
