Guys does anyone here like coffee?? For so many years I stayed away from it because I have trouble sleeping (and no need making it worse by adding caffeine to the mix) but today I tried some and it was pretty cool... I finished editing this draft much quicker than I thought it would take .... Maybe it's because I was thinking "I broke my no-coffee rule and risked losing sleep tonight, now I better make it worth it by actually doing some work" .... or maybe it really does help? Or is it placebo?

I like coffee but for me it really does nothing so I don't drink it often.

For some people it really works, for others it doesn't do much.

@forest : I believe you forest. It would be crazy for you to make an account just to ask that. By the way do you know about socks? There's a new moderator with absolutely no reputation in any other SE's in the network, who has been very vocal about having had another account in the past for several years... so it makes me wonder why he has a brand new account for this brand new SE. What if the previous account had a suspension in the last year? Does that disqualify him from being a mod?

Or does the suspension have to be on the SOCK, not on the person?

@andmyself : I am also the same. The flavor was delicious, but I'm not a fan of caffeine (or any drugs for that matter)

And a sock is just any duplicate or alternate account.

It doesn't have to be done maliciously. E.g. TomLeek and ThomasPornin are socks, but they don't vote for each other or do anything that'd result in them getting suspended.

@forest But the event is "men only" and they have free food and beverages. Shouldn't women be allowed to attend and get free food/bevereages too? There's feminism events, but they also welcome men if they really really want to be there (most of them don't want to in the first place)

The thing is that these customers think that they're having something "exotic" that they've never tried before, from an authentic restaurant, with a chef from overseas, with Bahasa music in the background, so it's worth the $9 + tax + tip (those things aren't included here man). The resto owner is a genius man, I wish I thought of it myself actually.
