I'm using my iPad to look at StackOverflow and everything is grayscale, even things like badges. Is this a bug on my iPad (this has never happened before now) or did the CSS just get updated? If it's the latter, it looks very odd on the iPad and is really jarring.

@Benjol I don't know. It's possible that Google has released some broad information on the subject publicly that wouldn't hurt their competitive advantage. The only way to know is to search, I guess.

If you log people out using GET requests (or do anything more important than that using GET requests, for that matter) then your website will be vulnerable to cross-site request forgery attacks. You should use POST to log out people. GET is only for idempotent actions, see RFC 2616 section 9.1.

The funny thing about rep recalcs is that you can tell who's addicted, or doesn't visit SO very often or was on vacation or whatever based on when MSO posts show up.
It's a bit confusing that I get desktop notifications if I'm pinged in a room that I'm not in… room name should get more emphasis so I notice it in these cases. And maybe add a link to the room, in the case I'm not inside that room.

I am writing a c# comand line application which interacts with mysql db. I read some text on the db that may be php code or asp code. Is there any way to eval or interpretate this code inside c#? Ex:

You can't use formatting in multi-line messages (except for making all fixed-width), headers and everything that would only be useful in multi-line messages. Script now works in all rooms. However it looks like it does not make you auto-join the status control room. You'll still need to join that room manually
@drachenstern When you change your status with /status something, the script posts to that room. It then watches for updates from others from that room and when it sees them, it colorizes the user's gravatar in all rooms and sets the title attribute of their gravatar to their status message
@TheRenamedException I guess I'm asking the wrong question: is there anything about that room or does it just make your script polling easier than fetching lots of API data?

Arg. A client decided to mess with the server I setup. So he just called me to say the display isn't working anymore cna I fix it. So I try to ssh in and get a dropped connection. I ask him what changed, he said nothing. I asked if his internet was up, he said no, why... sigh
One thing I was thinking about was painting the case with rubber (all around), then wrapping it with aluminum foil. Connect the 120v input to the aluminum foil and done...
