I don't even see the message on suggested edit audits. It's so obvious when you're getting one. I sort of see it out of the corner of my eye as I click "Next".
@DoorknobofSnow Yeah, every time I see someone's name with a diamond I think, "huh, that's weird. Where are they a mod?" Then I remember I'm reading a book :P
I made a bug report yesterday, and it's currently sitting at +2/-2. I'm not sure exactly why it's being downvoted. (Or, specifically, I'm not sure why I received the second downvote after I did my first edit.) Is my bug report unclear or something?
I don't appear to be getting any responses from the downvoters themselves on how I could improve it (or if it needs improvement), so I figured I'd ask here.
@Shog9 I really wish the Close Votes queue differentiated the custom off-topic reasons. Especially for the typo reason - that's not usually immediately obvious since answers are not shown in review. Seeing that someone used the typo reason would spawn more investigation to determine if it's valid. Just seeing "off-topic" doesn't.
@Shog9 I actually found out that if you click the "(more)" link to expand the instructions, it includes all the close reasons on the post with their descriptions, including the custom off-topic reasons. So I added the custom style .review-more-instructions ul { display: none } to hide the annoying button instructions so it doesn't take up so much space.
Uhh... your attempt does not match the schema create table ??? (ID1 ???, ID2 ???, ID3 ???) (as inferred from what you've written) at all. What is your database structure, and what do ID1..ID3 refer to? Also, please don't shout. All-caps is rude and hard to read. — Jan Dvorak1 min ago
I understand learning a foreign language can be hard (even if it's english), but please use a spell checker when posting in a language you don't know - it helps catching mistakes like "retive" and even identifying text-speak. Most text editors have one, and even a good web browser can do that. — Jan Dvorak1 min ago
I have seen a lot of questions ending up with the OP writing a comment like
fixed!
solved it by doing x or y
forget it
found it out myself
..And so on. I have a phrase to this, when I meet it: "You could answer your own question and accept it, maybe helping other people with similar problems...
