@user1345541 because it's a common way for people to try to circumvent question bans and all sorts of restrictions the site imposes to keep junk from overflowing. It's not unlike asking "can I steal if I change my identity afterwards?" (Of course that's an exaggerated example) If you're asking why asking about it got you downvotes, well, votes on meta are more like people cheering and booing in a fighting arena than "This question shows research effort and is useful".
Likewise, if you ask a room full of cops (assuming they care) if you can steal and change identity afterwards, you'll at least get some dirty looks.
@Feeds without reading the whole thing, I don't get the argument. what's the association between programmers and creating requirements? If anything, isn't that often not the programmer's job?
@CodyGray-onstrike Apparently you are the only available option right now since there is no way (that I can find) to contact ArtOfCode and mousetail is away. Please, when you have the chance ask them to remove my signature from the open letter. If you have no way to do this then sorry, Shadow had suggested to try asking you.

No evidence supports the efficacy of gripe water and one limited study in India questions whether the consumption of gripe water is related to vomiting in babies that already showed signs of colic. The original formula contained alcohol and sugar in addition to sodium bicarbonate and dill oil. Present-day products do not contain alcohol, and may contain fennel, ginger, chamomile or lemon balm in addition to or replacement for dill oil...
have to go. If anyone of you stumbles into someone that can remove myself from the open letter signature list, please ask them to do so with reference to my older message

looking at hypothetical button labeled "Remove my signature"
:D
I mean... probably not trivial to implement, but... sounds like a must with so many people signing, some almost month ago, and some might regret it or change their minds at some point.
Oh, I can respond but you probably won't like it. Simply put, I have a less-than-good image of the company as an aggregate entity and I only pick out some named individuals.
Lately, I have come to feel exactly the same about the network community
