I need to correct myself: after navigating back, the click-interaction is actually alive (on the non-highlighted arrow), but useless, as it doesn't try to revoke the upvote, instead, it tries to upvote again; to which you get the message that you can't do that twice.
---> You need a page-reload to show the arrow in the correct, highlighted state; but it is then that you don't get any click-interactions any more.

@Rob nice! back shield and parachute are close to each other. Can we assume they had a trajectory coming from the south? Or did they fly that distance on powered flight?

I don't know the details, but the general idea is once the seperation is made smoothly and cleanly each gains as much distance as is reasonable to do to prevent collision. --- Whether each was powered, they simply dropped their baggage, or it was partly one powered and the other mostly dropped; I dunno - I I don't think China gives details.

I think those two sections would be more closely horizontally aligned if it was taking a standard polar orbit, but polar orbits take more fuel; so it seems unlikely too.

I've read somewhere that there are concerns that the parachute might drop on the lander. I would think to be 100% sure that doesn't happen you have to power / steer clear of the free falling chute. Making more distance in the given parabolic trajectory is the most certain way to achieve that, I would think.

@Rob no objection on the front of there being a Chinese lander on Mars, but (puts tinfoil hat on) how do we know it's intact and that the photo in question comes from it?

(to which you hooked your reply) is claimed to be from American equipment on Mars; as for "proof" from either side, you can send a probe for less than U$200M and have a look.

We are lucky? to have additional spy satellites orbiting other planets,to resolve these questions. If the Russians or India release images we'll have an additional proof of what is purported to be true.

IIRC, a mechanical arm on ISS had a near collision recently. Any countries that want to have their own robots on Mars should hurry before LEO turns into a debris field.
