The list of open positions at SE is organized by team, using the same team descriptions as on Company page, with a grammatical adjustment.
This is an incredibly dangerous behavior, it just took out our production mail servers. https://twitter.com/shanemadden/status/742856513627119621

@Quill Full-Stack Web Developer
A full stack developer should generally be equipped to deal with all aspects of the developer process, for example a full stack web developer should have no problems designing a page, writing the frontend code, doing the backend code, handling the servers etc

user202362
I know ...
@ShadowWizard I dunno ...
> Dark/low level lighting – Low level lighting is very often used in horror films to create a creepy mysteriousatmosphere, as darkness is usually associated with evil.
Darkness also makes people feelmore vulnerable and threatened as they are unable to see as much and people fear the unseen and unknown. They also use many shadows.Use of low level lighting in our film opening- -We are filming most of our opening in the woods so the shade from the trees will make the lighting fairly low. - We are also going to use dark lighting in the flashbacks of Hannah, to add a dark and evil atmosphere.

Good to hear. Hm, Tavern's quite tonight.
Pareto: half of my rep comes from my top 10 answers (of 600 I've made). I wonder what that says about me.
Depends on how long you've been around, I think.
The older, more basic questions are seen the most... both because they're old and because they're basic.
17:51
I've been active about 2.5 years?
Then I guess you just had a few really popular answers.
But I give very thorough treatments of the topics.
That helps.
I tend to edit my answers more frequently when they come to my attention.
Virtuous cycle for some, bad for others.
Having a look at your answers on SO. It's fun that you could answer the age-old question about yield in Python, when there were already so many answers, and yet get a very high score.
I guess being torough is the only way to make one's answer stand out in those cases.
17:56
I also provide a critique of the top answer. I'm rather critical of it.
Wow... that top answer is still from one of the lucky ones who were on board early... over 7000 votes!
Big attention, probably a lot of links to it too.
Answers that are accepted tend to gather the most upvotes (regardless of quality). My top 2 answers didn't get nearly as many upvotes until they were "accepted" by the OP.
Does accepting boost a question to the front page, like editing does?
Nope.
That means you should probably mentally discount accepted answers by some amount if you want to mentally rank them.
18:03
I'd argue that accepting an asnwer should bump a question to the front page. Except the front page is already a pandemonium.

I've kinda got an A/B test on terse but complete answers versus longer, more comprehensive/verbose answers.
The longer answer's score wins by 10:1.
Funny. You'd expect the quick and short answer to win out.
It doesn't.
I think the effect is that readers that read more have more time to think, "Have I upvoted this yet?"
Sometimes I get to just reading answers without voting. Kind-of a waste not to vote.
Depends... some answers deserve an upvote or a downvote. Others are just "meh".
The way I see it, my upvote means "this is worth reading" and the opposite for my downvote.

@rene You know .net, right? What is your opinion on stackoverflow.com/questions/13089489/…?
damn oxford commas
that is a rather broad question.
i can explain how to use section but why is rather subjective.
some people never use it.
It seems like this explains it well though:
> @section is for defining a content are override from a shared view. Basically, it is a way for you to adjust your shared view (similar to a Master Page in Web Forms).
@Shog9 Obviously that's why 29 people upvoted a question that ended up being a typo...
clearly
"oooh, a superfluous comma, how cultured - must show respect!"
In all seriousness though, it's almost certainly scored as such because of the title
Folks google the title, find the question, steal the code, and then fix the typo.
20:04
@hichris123 yeah, that's "what they do", it's not "why you use them"
reasons to use them are things like "I want to be able to inject script or CSS at random places" or "I want to partition my pages into multiple content areas" or whatever
