My favorite Facebook notification (for the page I manage) is "the page has one new notification".

@hichris123 I hate it when I use the wrong flag.

:P Other people make that same mistake too.
These posts where the period contains a link are really sneaky.

Not as sneaky as links that are non-printing combining characters.
Like variation selectors or emoji fitzpatrick skin-tone modifiers.
You shouldn't be able to split a \X grapheme like that with the \PM part first before the think, then an href link surrounding the \pM part, but well, you know.

Do people actually do that? I haven't seen one yet.

Do do or can do or may do? :)
I don't expect spammers to grok Unicode any better than C# devs don't.
I should try.
These might work, too:
U+2062 ‭ ⁢ INVISIBLE TIMES
U+2063 ‭ ⁣ INVISIBLE SEPARATOR
U+2064 ‭ ⁤ INVISIBLE PLUS

You should try... to spam that way? Hey, you'd be a better spammer than the ones currently spamming SE... :P

3:27 AM
I'm thinking the invisible math signs won't turn the previous glyph into a clickable link, but the combining characters should.

3:38 AM
Although invisible links are... invisible so they really don't help with spamming.
Except for SEO, but SE uses rel=nofollow.

Aaron YodaikenI'm sure you guys already know this, but allowing users to put images from any source in questions means that askers can get all the analytical data you can about their question. Yeah, I included that post cause I just came across it. That wasn't my issue though :)

However, when the external images are deleted on the host site, then the images in the blog also get broken, and the whole blog post gets kind of confusing and sometimes, pointless :(
