Questions about why Stack Overflow does not share rep with Meta Stack Overflow are met with the response that meta.stackoverflow and stackoverflow do not share a "parent-child relationship" like the other meta sites. For example, this response:

I'm not a mac person, so it's probably just me. The downloads window in safari says, "Mounting failed" and when I click on it it says it's still downloading, but there's no progress counter, so it looks like it should be done.
Someone feel like clarifying? If @Moshe's script is used only on SO sites, he'll always have jQuery right? (assuming the defintion of always is transient)
$('span.deleted').html('(redacted)'); does what you want just fine.
Now I'm assuming that you don't want to verify the text in the middle first, so if they change it to say something else (like 'this message removed'), yours will still say '(redacted)'
