ok, what the heck...
@Mooseman Really? lifehacks.stackexchange.com/questions/7185/… Did you forget the "this is not a hack" comment?
Your site sucks.

God, some of the people that ask questions there, I can't even understand how they're still alive. How have they survived as long as they have?
@JasonC Please stop forcing negative comments on Lifehacks. I will suspend you if you keep generating nuisance flags.
None of them are nuisance. I believe every one of them.
Oh you mean comments.
None of them are particularly negative. If your site attracts users who defensively insist that things like "How do I clean my bathroom without cleaning it" are good questions for the site, that's not my fault. You're consistently ignoring awful content to artificially inflate the beta stats for your site. You should be ashamed.
20:20
Site is nuisance.
The existence of that site is a disservice to humanity, and the constant discouragement of good well-established answers that aren't "hacky" enough counters SE's entire purpose as a credible source of good information.
The site doesn't even have a topic. It's SE's yahoo answers.
It's all the junk that nobody could think of to put anywhere else.
And I'm assuming the "negative" comments that @Mooseman is referring are things like
Down voted due to lack of research and clarity (we don't even know what kind of roaches they are). Flagged to close as not needing a lifehack, since it has not been made clear why other standard pest control methods (even e.g. calling an exterminator) beyond one arbitrary brand of roach bait are not acceptable. Pest control is a well-studied problem and non-hack resources exist to solve it. "Hacks" here are likely to just be less-than-useful "tips" ultimately resulting in proper pest control methods anyways. — Jason C 3 hours ago
The comments aren't negative, the content being commented on just has nothing positive about it. At least I'm actually explaining myself.
@Mooseman I agree with @JasonC here; you should be actively acting on questions which are overly stupid, such as what @JasonC suggested.
questions like these are good: lifehacks.stackexchange.com/questions/7171/…
^ Relatively good. Cleaning with vinegar is arguably not a hack. But at least that's better than most of the other questions there.
20:28
questions like this are stupid, and this one was (rightfully) closed: lifehacks.stackexchange.com/questions/7106/how-to-better-focus
Questions like this are stupid too: lifehacks.stackexchange.com/questions/7191/…
@JasonC I do kinda agree with @Mooseman here that some of your comments are overly sarcastic: lifehacks.stackexchange.com/questions/7101/…
That one was meant as positive humor not negative commentary.
Besides, throwing it in a fire really does meet the requirements. :P
@JasonC that it does, but there's always going to be some idiot that believes you and throws their phone in a fire.
In any case it's still an awful question. The site just needs a canonical "How do I dry things?" "Use high airflow, heat, or rice" to mark all these as duplicates of.
@cybermonkey Good. Then they don't deserve to have a phone.

@cybermonkey Besides you could say that about any of the actual answers on the site. For example, there's always going to be some idiot that believes that a light trail of peppermint oil around a house will cure their ant problem, then they're going to try it.
@JasonC good point.
But of course, a suggestion to not leave food out, use actual pesticides, or call an exterminator would not be well-received, because @Mooseman et. al have to keep the site quality high by actively fending off things that actually make sense.

Peppermint oil won't work. You have to use venison.

I dislike that user, they rejected my edit that removed the swearing and fixes a couple of other issues, only to submit their own edit. I re-submitted the edit and they rejected it again.

New UI of Google Developers site is nice, but the purple on developers.google.com/apps-script is kind of obnoxious...
@cybermonkey The first edit was rejected by Community due to the conflict; the second was pretty minor, so...

@hichris123 I like it.

Google Product Forums became pretty slow to load after the redesign, but luckily I don't have to go there often. productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/…
@bjb568 ouch, that's slow
88 resources…
It took over 12 seconds to AJAX-load the actual content.
It's a little faster in Chrome, "only" 7 seconds.
@bjb568 7 seconds too long..

Firefox does it in about 9s.
It also complains about SHA-1.

Q: How can I not burn my hands in hot water when doing dishes?

James LynchEvery time I do the dishes by hand, I scald my hands, but if I use cold water, the dishes don't get clean. This is extremely inconvenient, especially when I need to clean them fast, rather than soaking them. Is there another way to clean my dishes?

Well, not in English.
In Portuguese SO, ok.
Well, that’s a new record. The fiber has been cut to our new data center days after it was lit up and well before we moved in.
Although IIRC there is no Portuguese SO only a Brazilian one, and they don’t do that o meu amigo thing quite so much as in real Portuguese.
@hichris123 what...
@bjb568 Where lie? Are you having a problem with operator precedence? :)
You have to apply the distributive property.
