@rene Yes and yes.
:)
@JonasCz The mere name of a programming language, a program, a type of computer, an operating system, or a kind of phone has no need of monospace, and to use such for it only makes the posting harder to read while serving no other purpose. The balance shifts when you have full expressions, like a function call with arguments: thatโ€™s clearly code. However, Iโ€™m not convinced mere class names alone unfailingly demand code formatting. Clarity is the goal.
on the other hand... OP approved it
Soโ€ฆ are you sayingโ€ฆ code formatting isn't for emphasis? :o

@PeterJ zero width char
The zero-width space (ZWSP) is a non-printing character used in computerized typesetting to indicate word boundaries to text processing systems when using scripts that do not use explicit spacing, or after characters (such as the slash) that are not followed by a visible space but after which there may nevertheless be a line break. Normally, it is not a visible separation, but it may expand in passages that are fully justified. == Usage == In HTML pages, the zero-width space can be used as a potential line-break in long words as an alternative to the <wbr> element. However, the zero-width space...

@Braiam Written certainly, or often spoken Brazilian. Lisbon is harder. But Iโ€™ve spent a month each working in Brazil and Portugal, and I always insisted on reading their newspapers and such, so it comes quickly enough. The two languages share 94% radical cognates.
Itโ€™s just that European Portuguese is a stress-timed language that sounds more Slavic than Romance, so you miscue.
There isn't a spanish WP article about isochrony :(
Thatโ€™s amusing in a way.
The vowel-reduction in European Portuguese is much stronger than in American Portuguese.
And of course, doesnโ€™t happen at all in Spanish. Well, in theory.
> A better-documented case of these varying degrees of stress-timing in a language comes from Portuguese. European Portuguese is more stress-timed than the Brazilian standard. The latter has mixed characteristics[22] and varies according to speech rate, sex and dialect. At fast speech rates, Brazilian Portuguese is more stress-timed, while in slow speech rates, it can be more syllable-timed.

They may have learnt from the US english
I do not know that we โ€œknowโ€ why PT became stress-timed while ES and IT remain syl-la-ble-ti-med.
@JanDvorak Not possible.
My theory though is that American Portuguese remains less stress-timed is because of Spanish influence from surrounding countries. No proof though.

@JonasCz It's naa, it should have been a comment or and edit
@michaelpri Answerer does not have enough rep to comment, and it would probably be rejected as an edit, so this potential solution to the problem will be lost if it gets deleted. IMO not good.
@bjb568 The entire edits queue is full of these edits now. This one removes the "apple" tag and adds "legal" as the only tag. Even worse. Hope the mods don't take forever to get to your flag.. There should be some "this is urgent" checkbox when mod flagging.

There are a few good questions, I have put more effort into searching than actually answering them.
Giving FGITW answers to bad questions is an easy way to get rep for me, just that I have to wait on the new questions list all the time, and since the introduction of the new questions list UI, the "x new questions" thing does not work for me anymore..
