Ahhh, history.
@tchrist The one which we could rightfully call the SuperCollider.
that one
When was that? It’s changed so often.
From what I can tell, there were about three iterations: The one with a letter-looking thing that didn't go all the way across the page, the one with the SuperCollider, and the black one.
@tchrist before December '13
@Undo IT'S NOT BLACK!
... fine, very very dark grey.
@Undo At this point I'm just waiting for Ed to come along and put us out of our misery.
We both know he will :P
Regular vs. black:
This is game-changing.
@hichris123 That’s barely a sesquiyear ago, if that. Not so old, eh?
00:25
blek, i didn't get through the qualification round of codejam because i had to do stuff :/
@tchrist I think that design existed though for a while. Anyway, your point is well taken, but it's old to me as that's when I became really active (I joined Aug '13, but wasn't really active until Nov '13).
i'm ashamed of myself because i still failed even though i spent, like, 30 minutes on the standing ovation thing
@JeremyBanks Why do you link to your website in your profile if it just redirects to your SO profile?

Q: The site should not make speculative statements about its users

pizzaThe redesigned user profile sees it fit to speculate about the motives and inclinations of the user. E.g. here: Apparently, this user prefers to keep an air of mystery about them. We respect a laser-like focus on one topic. Keeping a low profile. This user hasn't posted... yet. ...

yeah but it happened to my sock and i didn't blank the about me thing

anyway, i just wanted to know why it appeared

@hichris123 Hmm. Dunno. Completionism. The old profile looked ugly with fields missing. To be ready if I ever do put up a web site. Maybe.

where was that post about curious badges not being awarded?
@Roombatron5000 I can see that (on vanilla Chrome).
Eeek did the question voting arrows on mSE just move?

No, the padding of the question body just increased.

@pizza lol
@AndrewT. Just which ones it has varies between a great deal between types, but real vanilla has about two hundred discernible flavor/aroma components. Chocolate is next with merely fiftyish.
@AndrewT. ahhhhhhhhhh

A: Why non-flavored variant is usually vanilla?

BobMcGeeWhy Vanilla??? Vanilla is a rich and powerful flavor, with over 200 flavor compounds besides the basic vanillin. Due to its complexity and neutral flavor, it can be combined with a plethora of other flavors without conflicting. It just provides a good neutral base to build on. The vanilla als...

@Makoto Shog9 has 1.4 million people helped on Meta.SE. I'm sure Jon Skeet's number on SO would likely be at least 7.5 million if not like 40 million with that same algorithm. — Roombatron5000 Nov 27 '14 at 21:56

Okay, rewriting profile links isn't hard:
user259867
var u, i, links;
if (window.location.href.indexOf('/users/')==-1) {
  links = document.getElementsByTagName('a');
  for (i=0; i<links.length; i++) {
    u = links[i].href;
    if (u.indexOf('/users/')>-1) {
      links[i].href=u+'?tab=topactivity';
    }
  }
}
user259867
All links to profiles now point to Activity, unless they are on profile page itself.
