Beer.SE could do with new pro tem mods too.
Or, better still, active users.

Uh oh. Usually the self-evaluation contains 10 questions. Whatever the criteria are, it looks like we didn't have 10 that met them. — Monica Cellio Feb 4 at 1:57

HAHAHAH.. I've just finished reading the last 12 hours of transcript. You guys crack me up.
BUT... have you successfully gotten a lock on triangulation yet?
@LynnCrumbling No, lol. We only know where Wolfram|Alpha thinks his IP address is. The only option is proper internet stalking, which has failed so far.
ponders
is the bot still up?

Ooh, I see Martijn is going to be a mod. Nice.
@Bart Oh?
13:31
@Bart Which site?
Now with images. And now gone.
@Bart I haven't even posted a nomination yet. :-P
@LynnCrumbling I was thinking of that last night, but I can't think of any ways to start a conversation with an IP address and no name, and end with a physical address. If we knew his name, maybe.

39° 8' 24"N, 84° 30' 23"W

!comp antipode of antipode of current location

@SmokeDetector Really...
@JasonC I'd say it is the other building, the apartment block with the ads fro apartments for the new academic year.
Are we stalking bjb?
14:00
We're showing Martijn how to stalk bjb. It's part of the tavern's new mandatory training program.
@Undo We are coercing his bot to do the stalking for us.
@JasonC this digital program is far better than the previous one though. Two weeks in the tree in front of his house was a real pain.
Tell me about it. At least there are no police stations in Cincinnati.
So what's the bot do?
I want to get in on this malicious bot-using thing

@Andy starts with !!/rev
Ah. That makes sense then
My initial reaction was "wth, it replies"
you should use a parser instead of regex :/
Just about the worst thing you could do with it is commit something that spikes the CPU and then !!/pull it, and that would only work until I saw it :P
14:20
@ProgramFOX Did you add !!/so2015?

@JasonC no, Undo did

@Braiam We use startswith, so all of !!/rev, !!/rev?, !!/revision etc. work.

@Undo pizza made fun of me for it, lol.
Why is typing "I'm an idiot" the only way I can get stars? :/

Lol

BTW, I'm pretty sure the wolfram thing is just looking at my IP.
I'm pretty sure it's looking in your window.

!!/so2015

14:26
^ Suck it, @pizza
Oh looks like ProgramFOX has the wiki link in there. In that case should we just get rid of !!/commands, put the link in !!/help, and keep it all in as few places as possible?
I still won't remember to update it :P
But at least you'll just forget to update one thing instead of two.
@Undo I bet you could make a test that fails at the CI stage if a new command is missing the documentation
voted
14:28
I'll make the change later. I think it's for the better.
@Andy The better solution would be a dictionary mapping commands to both a command handler function and an optional short description, instead of a big if block. Then it will always be up to date if !!/commands generates the list from that. But now that there's a wiki it's silly.
Hey @bjb my cat's in heat, can I hire you to come... help her out?
ಠ_ಠ
@bjb568 Do they block VPNs?
@bjb568 Hey look everyone! A new IP address!

@Undo ... and you said that in public? gg
The day they go after me for VPNing on Govm't networks, I have other things to worry about
On the github site, if I want to make my fork be the same as the current, newer version of the original, do I just delete it and make a new fork? Or is there a way to merge it in?
(I want my Smokey fork to be the current version)
