Q: What did StackEgg want to tell me?

nicaelI guess StackEgg was going to tell me something, but I am having a hard time understanding what exactly. Probably the font chosen is a bit too small to recognise what it was going to say or I have a really poor eyesight. Either way, may I know what it's saying?

what spoilsport keeps voting down @nicael's questions?
weird
It's april fools
time for fun and stuff
Actually, the SE staff anticipated you asking this question. The answer is an answer for this Meta question, and it tells the OP to waste their time somewhere else. — Alexis King 48 secs ago

Unless Gardening decides to discuss growing that plant.
PCG is destroying the StackEgg competition.

Yes... that will remove any doubt.

Hasn't someone proposed that reputation should age away?
user259867
So that someone who doesn't do anything to earn new rep, gradually loses privileges?
@Woodface That would make some people very very angry.
user259867
E.g., I can stop posting on Math altogether [I'm halfway there already] and still close and delete for years after that.
@Woodface If hadn't gotten myself hired, I would have reached 10k privileges several years after I stopped being active on SO. It's a bit strange, but it's more or less by design:

Q: What to do about rep inflation?

John PirieOverall reputation scores are headed nowhere but up. Pretty soon there will be thousands of mods. What to do? Thoughts on possibilities: Thousands of mods is fine. Carry on. Adjust the threshold values for high-level SO privileges. Do a straight-up inflation adjustment. You had x rep, then...

@Woodface I'd never listened to the SE podcast, and this is hilarious.
