CUDA fan @hichris123?
:D Apparently so then.
@Bart CUDA struggler more like. :P
What are you doing with it, if I may ask?
Playing with it for the most part. Trying to see if some math stuff will really perform faster with a GPU, or if it's better on the CPU.
22:08
struggling with it, what else :P
lol
Actually, I'm updating drivers right now so...
:D CUDA is good fun though. Haven't worked with it in a while now. Should pick that up again if I have some time.
@hichris123 Bitcoin mining sure works better on a GPU
You do graphics work, right?
22:10
@Undo Yup. Though GPUs are good for doing many tasks at the same time. Memory access is a ton slower, and it can't perform things super fast like a CPU.
@Bart This is a trick to get more YouTube views, right? :P
Oh yeah, I should really monetize that. I would become so .... similar to now
@Bart that is cool
What @Undo said. :P
:D It was good fun
and... you get paid to do this?
22:15
> The latest GeForce Game Ready driver, release 347.09 WHQL, ensures you'll have the
best possible gaming experience for Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and Elite:
Dangerous.
Me?
... that's why I have to update my graphics driver? sigh
Haha
@Bart Yup, since he's not referring to me. :P
It was part of my work as a research assistant @Undo. So yeah, I got "paid" ...
22:17
cool
plzsendtehclothsimulationcodez
:D Believe me, you don't want them
We want all of your code, @Bart. Including the code for yourself.
plzsendtehglassez
At some point I was planning to redo the code and open-source it. But yeah, probably not going to happen.
22:21
Eek! All of you are joining the evil glasses side.
Join the bright side
they have cake?
Let's just say I'm not getting any skinnier
I didn't think it was good for glasses to be skinny.
22:45
you look more serious wearing thin glasses
thick glasses make you look like a hipster
"Thank you for watching fashion tips with @Shog9. Please join us again next week when he'll tell us how to confidently wear a tailored suit when you don't have a body"

it's all in the tie

I just answered this guy's question. I think his profile is very cute:
> You can trust me online because I got the Association Award ( SE trusts me to not break the rules and not to cause chaos and mayhem in other sites ).
:)
....misunderstanding, much?

That's enough, I'm going to script-redirect MSE profiles to activity tab without waiting for them to roll out everywhere.
*Click* -> WTH is this LinkedIn page -> *Ah that* -> moving pointer to Activity link
Can you take longer to install please, CUDA?
user259867
Hm, API method /users returns the field timed_penalty_date...
@hichris123 IMPOSSIBLE!
@Fundamental Well, it returns basically every single thing you can see on the profile page.
/me uses linux... he don't have to wait to install stuff
23:02
Eeek new profile pic.
user259867
@Doorknob Yes, this is reassuring; if SE messes up the profiles completely (including the current "activity"), I can still rebuild them using the API.
user259867
So far I haven't able to find a user with non-null "timed_penalty_date"
@Fundamental rand was recently suspended on MSE and I think it's still in effect; try him. :P
user259867
@Doorknob Yes, that worked. "1421440281"
user259867
Interestingly, one gets more from the API than from public profile: for example, all comments mentioning the user.
23:25
@Fundamental err... that's creepy
user259867
@Braiam For example, this is the way to recover user's past names. E.g., sorting the comments mentioning @Undo from the oldest brings up his original username.
user259867
hichris123 used to go by "user2581872" before setting the present username.
huh
cool
user259867
Doorknob was "Picklish Doorknob"
user259867
Bart was "BKevelham". Okay, enough stalking for now.
user259867
23:33
No, one more: bjb568 was "Dude".
I was always braiam...
user259867
And Shog9 was Shog9 from the beginning. Some people have no creativity.
23:52
@Fundamental Stalker!
@Fundamental lol
user259867
That's my middle name.
@Braiam Doesn't matter much unless they have enough votes to override a veto, as I'm betting the President would veto it.
@hichris123 the problem is that that move would sequester others laws that need to pass in the congress, like migration
