@Braiam No, it's from the internet. Burninate the internet.
@InfiniteRecursion don't you dare to use my words against me >:(

@Braiam you think that's bad?

@Dasha This is pretty frustrating. I dug up all of the old torrents a year ago, finally having a complete list, and then missed the first torrent release after I'd finished. I wish somebody would be able to provide the may 2014 release, but I wouldn't be surprised if it practically doesn't exist anywhere. — Jeremy Banks 27 mins ago

Anyone downloaded May 2014 dump, by any chance (thinking @hichris123 may have)?
@Fundamental At one point I did. I am not sure if I still have it on this machine.

Q: Burninate [positioning]

MoosemanReasons to burninate positioning: You could be positioning anything. (<div> elements, unicorns, etc.) There is no such thing as a positioning expert. something tells me that you take a log of each thing, but a log involving a subtraction needs to be distributed out somehow.

or a similar factor
Oh.. substitution.

Anyone tried to use Stack Snippets to render formulas with MathJax?
Seems like a meh way to do it.
user259867
Yes, the Snippets interface isn't ideal for the purpose.
user259867
But if it can be done in principle, what's stopping SE from adding on-demand rendering of formulas on SO?
user259867
No MathJax would load until/unless someone wants it to.
@Frank what?

@hichris123 I said 'Go away @randa'

yesterday, by Shog9
There are three chat servers:
- chat.stackexchange is for all the folks on all the sites
- chat.stackoverflow is for all the folks on Stack Overflow
- chat.meta is for employees, the super-engaged folk on Meta Stack Exchange, and the occasional confused person who wanders in not quite sure where they are.
hmmm good to know.
user259867
In other news, MathJax in snippet works just fine.
@hichris123 lol
user259867
23:56
Still ugly, of course. But the point is, nothing stops SE devs from reducing it to a single "render MathJax" button for the purpose of rendering formulas on SO.
"Based on your feedback" - I was fairly certain the feedback was "don't do this!" Nice prizes, but... not participating as it ruins the fun of Stack Overflow (the intrinsic motivation). This contest would almost be better if the extrinsic rewards were unknown, and it was simply a "please participate" advertisement, and rewards were announced to congratulate the top users at the end. That keeps the extrinsic motivation away. — hichris123 54 secs ago
