Shog wrote in a post that fear should not influence our decisions on the site. I thought the tag holds potential. We will see how it goes @rene. Please do downvote and express your opinion, I will really appreciate that.
@Unihedron never been on that thing and never will be. The day fb will finally be forgotten look near the coffin and you will see my ghost hanging a sign with "Finally" written on it.
@SPArchaeologist Heh, when I register an account I was forced to by school. Eventually I found out that I'm not one who cares about what happens to my "friend"s. So I've been letting it rot until finally it's asking to be ditched.
not yet, because I already had a vacation planned for this winter months ago with my parents and I'm not available for the job market until the first week of January. I can't go to job interviews during that period, and after that period I can get assistance from a special non-profit for people with disabilities in looking for a job
and yes, I realize that's not a good reason to delay my search until then
@Ramhound: Come on, let's not be pedantic. You pointed out that one of my concerns - "future compatibility" - should be removed as nobody can predict the future, so I did. Yes, I am looking for advise on what device to purchase. But I am unsure which one would be best suited for my purpose - ios development. As I mentioned, someone pointed out to me that development for retina and non-retina displays differs. And so I am wondering if there other similar things I may be ignorant about. I don't see why experienced ios developers can't offer their opinions on the same, and why it won't be useful? — Sam2 mins ago
@JanDvorak I'll post a comment that underscores the fact that his title still very much asks for a shopping recommendation.
Fundamentally, the word "buy" is still in your title. You need to disconnect the idea of purchasing something from your need to select hardware. As long as you broach the idea of shopping, this will be ot. — Lynn Crumbling49 secs ago
If they are willing to listen/read, the closed banner and the link in it provides them all the info. If they aren't listening, nothing will make a difference, no matter what you tell them @LynnCrumbling
FWIW, this would probably be better suited in SO, since you're specifically focusing on devs. The danger is that you get closed as "primarily opinion", since that's what you're soliciting. — Lynn Crumbling11 secs ago

Also note that all close votes automatically expire after two days.

The question is on par with "This girl likes me but some people are making fun of us, should I go out with her?" If you like helping, help. If you don't, don't. We can't tell you what you should do. — Amadan12 hours ago
BUG:
The tags when using inline tag editor have poor margins:
Currently, .tag-editor .post-tag has margin: 6px 3px 0 3px;. It would look better with margin: 3px;. The parent .tag-editor, which appears to be styled via js, needs height: 33px; rather than height: 30px;. That looks like this:

@InfiniteRecursion Yeah... I don't see a way for the OP to fix their question. No matter how they ask it, the question is going to be subjective. It's not answerable. Thanks for linking to the Meta for me to read.
Good day. Does anyone know how can I filter only unanswered questions with answers? I could not find this on Meta, but pretty sure it would be a duplicate. Tks.
@rene I think Infinite Recursion's answer was more meant as a general answer, not only for this specific tag. The question also asks about getting tag synonyms approved in general. — ProgramFOX11 secs ago
@rene: this post is a feature request for a new queue for synonyms. OP used the synonyms only to exemplify the current situation. This post is NOT a synonym-request. Retagging will be invalid and conflict with the author's intent. — Infinite Recursion53 secs ago
Sure, but if I remove the last sentence my point becomes valid. This OP's initial (and I assume, I know that is tricky) and only intent is to get those synonyms approved, not get involved in some meta discussion if this post is a correct way to do that.... — rene24 secs ago
@Bart, sorry I had to leave for a moment. hasaccepted:no answers:1 will find questions with just one answer and that answer is not accepted, but it can have score > 0. I am looking a way to find questions which have answer or answers and none of them have positive score.
I probably wouldn't be taking them now, if it weren't for the fact that it looks good to our clients, and our company gets deals (on licenses and such) from Microsoft the more certs its employees have.
