Q: /me command for chat

The Unhandled ExceptionI love the "action" command /me found elsewhere, and think it would be fun to have in the chat. A message like: /me loves the new chat system Would show up as: Josh loves the new chat system Rather than: Josh: loves the new chat system I'm trying to think how it would work with ...

Is this actually useful? Should DevDoodle support /me?

user259867
Raff thinks No. Changing the text of user's message can change the emphasis. /me eats fish is not identical to Raff eats fish

Should titles have periods at the end?
Capitalization?

user259867
No to periods, yes to capitalization.

Why no periods?

@bjb568 titles don't have periods, capitalize every word that isn't like "and", "a", "it" , etc

3:34 AM
@cVplZ We're talking about the HTML title attribute…

user259867
@cVplZ I disagree with capitalizing every word. It works fine for very short titles (up to 5 words) and after that it just becomes annoying.

true

user259867

Q: Old black & white movie where a piano player gets shot

The intend the "Activity" profile to open by default when you look at your own profile. The post you oneboxed indicates as much -- perhaps not 100% explicitly, but it's there.

A: Flair buttons suddenly broken?

Infinite RecursionAs mentioned by Oded here: The flair is cached individually on each server, so whether you hit the corrupted cache depends on the server you hit. This is why some people can repro and some can't. One way or another, the caches are cleared weekly, so this will resolve itself.
