Thanks for reporting. Frankly, not a huge problem - it is our deployment environment for pushed code, plus all the stuff that is being developed and is turned on. Will see what we can do to close the hole (if we even want to). Thanks again, @undo
@ColeJohnson - we have deployment tiers as well as the private/public beta / graduated distinction. That one will never show up in SO and the other 110 production sites
That's what I was asking. I've never used a private/public beta site before, so I was just wondering because the Dev didn't. (Which I understand why now)
@ColeJohnson I recall when plug-and-pray was introduced in win95 that there where actually events that are raised before and after removal of the device. It could well be that your usb stick is blinking because the host is sending those after-the-fact events.
I, along with much of Meta, was surprised to find that you are leaving.
Thank you.
You have been a fine mod - way better than I could be.
You worked out many of the problems that Stack Overflow had in the early days.
Thank you for everything,
Meta
any body knows where is the srpitesheet for the rest of the hats ?
This answers : meta.stackoverflow.com/a/211872/174490 now has multi format hats and it feelsl... weird I would like to use the same size for all the hats and see the missing ones.
Does anyone here happen to know about SSL certificates? Specifically, if I buy it for a single domain, can I use it for multiple different ports on that domain, or only one?
@Oded - I can't get in in Incognito, but I can still run around after logging out in the window I was logged in in. Almost like a cookie didn't get cleared.
Ok, to be clear: only in a webbrowser session where I was already logged in dev I can gain access. If I start a different browser I'm not allowed/not logged on, even not when I'logged in in production
Errr my page keeps saying I'm including content that's not secure. But all of my external resources are using a // path and the Network tab in my inspector says they were all loaded through https. so confused
Oh I think I know what it is. I had all the resources cached in my browser from the previous certificate which had expired. Maybe it thinks the certificates don't match between the new one on the site and the old one on the resources? Is that possible?
@ColeJohnson Hack away. The only thing you'll be able to see in there anyways is an anonymized list of accounts and a file browser... ;P It's mostly just non-functional layouts of what I want things to do.
It's sort of underway. I already did some work for her, which she paid me for. And then I specced out the rest of the job, with target dates and junk, and asked for her approval.
I just don't want to get started until she clears that we're on the same page about everything.
@AnnaLear Has the batch size changed? I don't mind if I have to wait, but I'm starting to wonder if my invite has gone missing, or I'm too dumb to spot it somewhere.
There's a bunch of upvotes @Mr.PeanutMonopolyMcManish. Nothing that stands out though. A single downvote, but that's much later. Bunch of close votes as well
Hmm, annoying. So at the end of my evening I can conclude that my collision detection doesn't work, nor do I know what gave me the hat. Yeah, I'll sleep just fine.
