So yeah, it seems like it encourages writing hasty answers (and editing later), and/or people to take back honest upvotes at the last second. I understand why
meta.stackoverflow.com/questions/2786 was declined, but if the user doesn't pick one then maybe splitting across the tie would be better. Should I post in meta about this?
