I remember picking up a Jewish colleague in Germany (driving 2h to go there, driving 2h back to Antwerp) to give him a decent meal

He did agree to sleep at my place though... ;-)

Also, would you support a proposal to disallow post authors from deleting their own questions within 24 hours of someone answering it?

@SonictheInclusiveHedgehog yep, but if the Q&A are downvoted I say let them. Which means an author could downvote an answer and delete. But in terms of solving the fly by night users who are using the site for exam answers it may solve it. We'd need some stats

yeh that's hard also. As if the posts are no good, then they're probably doing the right thing deleting them

I'm assuming that if one deletes their question just after getting an answer, it was a bad question in the first place

and even if it wasn't a bad question, by deleting it, the asker is wasting everyone's time.
