If a user votes on something else than the content of a post, it is an invalid reason to vote on all questions in a tag. It is serial voting, but then in another way.
I hope the automated script will revert those votes, but if it doesn't, you should really get those votes reverted and the user w...
this one?
yep, related.
Seems to be about serial upvoting, but in the end it is the same problem.

Ru.SO became the third site, after SO and Math, to get "interesting" sort as default on the homepage. Makes sense since they are 3rd in questions per day.
@Derpy Can you tell me anyway? Because we're still seeing ~ 5,000 people getting those errors (if you're in Chrome, hitting F12 and going to the Network tab and refreshing should be able to tell you the IP address)
@Derpy Yeah that's what we suspected. For some reason, some users are seeing a really, really, really old DNS entry (like literally almost a month old)
@AndrewT. tried it with my sock, it copy everything except the name. @CrazyIvan knows of a workaround, probably something with account deletion, creating new account, then merging. Or something crazy like that. ;)
@Chicken It would appear so. We have a wildcard DNS entry for *.stackexchange.com with a 5-minute TTL. But weeks ago we added an A record for winterbash2017.stackexchange.com
However some FireFox users are still seeing the old wildcard when visiting the winterbash site
I was thinking about creating a community wiki for the different English sites as I know that there is a lot of overlap and I get confused as well as many other people.
would that be okay to do or would it be downvoted or flagged
@Chicken yeah but scifi and fantasy is lit so there could be an overlap there. There is differnet between the lit and language sites but there are overlaps there
@rene I know that there is some overlap, I was wondering if a breakdown of the main things to go on each site where to make it easier for users to know what English site to use.
I thought i'd ask on here in case it was a terrible suggestion and got immidatly downvoted.
Someone has suggested that a question of mine should be migrated to the ELL site.
Why are there two Q&A sites for the English language?
What can I ask on each site?
Note: ELU refers to English Language & Usage; ELL refers to English Language Learners.
I can't believe that no one has ever asked this. I really want to find a duplication.
From "What topics can I ask about here?" of:
English Language and Usage (ELU):
Word choice and usage
Grammar
Etymology (history of wordsβ development)
Dialect differences

It's been less than ten minutes since I've been on this page and already I have a dire need:
A checklist on: how do I determine whether a question fits on English Language & Usage or on English Language Learners?
