I have a feeling that soon all of the internet will be stackexchange

So my css hack answer is 0/0 while the "not possible but use jquery or change the class like the OP said they can't" answers each got +1. ಠ_ಠ

@Mooseman are you fishing for upvotes? ;D
it was posted just 13 mins ago, give it some time

@DarkAshelin Maybe a little, but answers that say "use js" and proceed with jQuery code need to be buried deep.
This has two upvotes:
> jQuery has got the :has() selector, which you can use to check if the element contains specified elements. If you wrap this in a jQuery wrapper, it's run when the page loads and works just like css would

I've just done an edit to this question: meta.stackoverflow.com/questions/295650/…, and now it shows my name under it where the name of the author normally is, even though I just made a (quite small) edit. Is this supposed to work like that ?

@JonasCz It's a community wiki.
In CW posts, the "owner" is the major author of the post, aka added content amount > added content amount by any other author in revision

@JonasCz QUESTION STEALER!!!

Anyway, even though your name is on there, it's still recorded as the original OP in the data dumps, and badges goes to original creator.

I just changed it a bit, I would not consider my edit to be the "major" edit.. It even says that: "44% jonasCz" That means that the original author has created more than 50% of it, so it should still show it as belonging to the original author, no ?

@JonasCz it's yours now, take responsibility

11:30 AM
@JonasCz it has 6 revisions by 4 authors. Rest of 56% don't belong to author only

@DroidDev I guess your flag did not get support of reviewers in the Close queue, but the question was closed by the Tavern independently of that.

well....we have a local saying, On a bad day, a dog will bite you even if you are sitting on a camel.
Anyway....thanks @Home

@DroidDev was a close flag, or a vlq flag?

@Braiam ummm... I flagged it under "It should be closed > Unclear what you're asking"

those are not supposed to get disputted
either the queue task vote as "leave open" and the flag gets rejected or a "close vote" is casted and the flag gets approved

1:17 PM
Please take a look @Braiam. This is from my flag queue

It was probably disputed because of triage looks OK / should be improved which dismisses flags outside the triage as well

Should this be posted on meta?
I don't know the whole thing about Triage or other things, but I can surely help, if need be

@DroidDev no
it's specific to SO, use MSO

I'm personally curious under what circustamces it would be disputed

I think it already has been and I think it's supposed to be "by design"

@DroidDev yes, mso

Ok, I'll do it once I get home and post the link here. If you guys want it, you can also post it :)

A: Burn the tag "hygeine" as it is wrongly spelled?

MoosemanBoth of the aforementioned tags are already synonyms of the preferred tag, personal-care, as shown on http://lifehacks.stackexchange.com/tags/personal-care/synonyms. Since this had been a common misspelling, I think it's better to leave it as a synonym. No questions are tagged with [hygiene] or i...

@Mooseman Really?

@JasonC Yes.

@Mooseman You could merge the two tags...
[hygeine] -> [hygiene]

Reputation based communities have seemed insulated from the Russian trolls (nytimes.com/2015/06/07/magazine/the-agency.html). But if they're paid to troll, perhaps it's only a matter of time and we'll be dealing with them too. Thoughts?

@AaronHall Thought 1: Troll win. Thought 2: Not worried, reputation based communities are fairly insulated. Would be able to deal. Mass coordinated misinformation campaign (e.g. posting bogus harmful info on say, Health, SU, Lifehacks, Skeptics) if such a thing were to happen, might be effective short term but would eventually be dealt with due to otherwise knowledgeable users.

user259867
@SmokeDetector VLQ

Sites with more concretely verifiable content (e.g. SO, Physics, Chem, Bio) probably wouldn't be susceptible even short term except for really obscure topics. But Wikipedia is relatively able to self-correct from those kinds of things, too, and if Wikipedia can, I think it's a non-issue here.
Plus we're more of an information outlet than a live breaking news outlet.

@JasonC That would be nice! I probably won't have time to work on it today. So, the idea is to check, inside the tp and tpu if statements, whether the command is "tp gone"/"tpu gone". Then wrap a .delete() call in a try-except block (because it raises when the message is too old), as you can see in the gone command.

Q: How many beta sites can SE design team get graduated per year?

Deer HunterRelated: Graduation, site closure, and a clearer outlook on the health of SE sites As of now I can see only Kurtis Beavers doing the design work, with Jin as Creative Director. As an aside, would open/crowdsourcing CSS design for the betas to GitHub relieve the design backlog?

SO: _\| SU: ['}

I wonder if the Unicode Consortium would consider adding SE and SO logo characters.
I have all the necessary materials here to make deep-fried Oreos. The question is, should I?
I probably should.

@Catija I'm trying to unbundle many of the features of graduation to allow sites to benefit from the features they need, like elections, but I think a custom design will always be part of that top-tier level (graduation). — Robert Cartaino ♦ 9 mins ago
Hmm, so some sites could never get an actual design?
That... seems quite strange.
I'm not sure if this is the right move -- it seems like the whole point of "graduation" was to say that the community had enough activity that it shouldn't shut down, thus SE decided to put in the resources of creating a design, and changing things around due to a more active userbase.
However, if the "never-ending "beta"" is going to be a thing... SE's not going to shut down the site, so why not give the site a design?

user259867
6:53 PM
@hichris123 There is a range in between "shut down this site" and "it's important enough for us to give spend resources to give it a custom design".

@HomegrownTomato But if a site exists for 10 years and never reaches the point where it's important enough to get a custom design?

user259867
So what? Is there a reason to shut it down?

No, but I don't see a point in not giving it a design.
If a site is going to exist for forever... why not give it a design?

user259867
@hichris123 Because new sites come up all the time, which are more deserving of a design. With X sites-per-month, and Y designers on staff...

@HomegrownTomato And this is where it gets even more into subject-o-land.
