But to help you all out @ShadowWizard : I am Dutch, speak Dutch, English, some German and some French, do live in Switzerland but in the French speaking part.
Area 51 proposal: Super User em Português. Makes sense... wonder how far SE is willing to go with the "duplicate all the sites" trend. Another way to put it: how many sites can Gabe manage single-handedly?
That's what I mean:
These spaces I emphased - between badges, badges count, and rep are same on all the pages except /users/...
Check yourself: first go to e.g. home page and then to Users. The spacing I noted changes. Now choose any user in Users. The spacing changes again.
For example, I am thinking of this question.
In my opinion, this question (and its answer) got a groundless unfair treatment.
But everything happened normally - at least, in theory.
I think, in a similar case, it would be a possible work-around of the problem if I would try to send the visitor...
Fully launched StackExchange sites can show community ads for anything their community chooses. There are premade templates for ads for Area51 proposals:
but they're perhaps not the best for betas, since they still say "proposal" and are pretty generic. Is the premade one good enough? Or does ...
I did a full length dive from a high speed sprint and landed on my pinky finger. It was sticking out sideways after that. But I did catch the frisbee, and save the game :/
So the doctor thought my finger was dislocated, and after a few tries (apparently my ligaments are rather stout) got it back into place. He didn't even use a nerve block.
2 months later, It still painful and crooked. Another doctor says the first doctor should have x rayed. The joint had been shattered/crushed. No wonder the relocation hurt.
It fused together all wrong, with all those bone shards.
@Frank I'll play Ultimate occasionally, but I'm short so I have to try to find patterns in what the other team is doing and show up in inconvenient places for them.
@Frank I refuse to sacrifice my health for a spinning disk. Of course, I have to take into account the health loss I would have if I don't catch it, inflicted by my teammates :P
One time I did a flying dive for the disk, caught it inches from the ground, and slid about 9 feet - on a parking lot. I have no idea where it came from. But at least I caught the disk...
@Undo That reminds me. One person on the opposing team was 6'7" and weighed 380lbs. He was hard to throw around. I almost always resorted to a hammer with him
One time I was playing at a park with a small field, and running down a fast throw that was over my head. I was just about to dive for it when I ran full tilt into a steel park bench. I did a flip and landed on my back.
Here's what you should try: - stay up past midnight chatting in the tavern - wake up at 5 am and be at work by 6:30 am - work til 6 pm - head over to a park and play sports til dark - go home and eat supper - chat in the tavern til past midnight...
That only happens one day a week in summer, thankfully
@Frank Evergreen has excellent food. If you ever get a chance, try them. They're a bit pricey, but it's because they use quality ingredients. And they have Thai.
@LynnCrumbling omelets are good. Especially if you have chickens (hour old eggs from pampered chickens are tastier than store stuff) and homegrown veggies.
@Frank I've never had truly fresh eggs. We've gotten some from a farm off the beaten path up by Roots... but they were still probably not same-day eggs.
