So apparently I already have the required score for the gold tag badge. This means that if I post 90 answers and none of them get any votes, it'll still get me the badge O_o

Oooh, more answers to downvote.
Thanks @Doorknob! ;)

@Doorknob lel

@Doorknob I'm in a similar boat on Meta.SO, I've got a silver badge without the number of questions

@Doorknob @hichris123 You guys are mods. Am I correct in thinking that only the help > on-topic section of the help center in editable by mods?

@Frank Yes.
Only /help/on-topic, and only mods can edit it.
(Barring SE dev employee magic, of course.)

On Metro they probably go into Chrome's notification bar

In the user profile, we can sort our questions by views - is this a new feature or something I never noticed before?

@FamousBlueRaincoat It's new.

user259867
If this is meant as a sensible alternative to People Coddled, I'm all for it. But then the answers should also have this kind of sort, based on question views.

2:59 AM
@hichris123 eh? nah, that's old
activity, votes, newest and views has since I know been there

@Braiam I only remember the three: activity, votes, newest.

I don't know what the oft-mentioned doctype is used for, if anything... is it for spam or LQ?

Q: How to stop lizards entering through windows

sairam01The very sight of lizards makes me take a stick and drive them out of the windows. I heard if we place egg shells near the windows they repel. But is there any other way we could accomplish this? Due to this, I have most of my windows closed..

Q: How to deal appropriately with answers posted for obvious help vampire questions?

πάντα ῥεῖToday I came across this question that obviously didn't deserve to get an answer, in preserving from getting future researchers the impression, such questions are well formed, and achieved at SO well. Though there was an answer given by a (very) high rep user, where I thought these should know...

@J.Steen The community has historically been very divided over those sorts of questions.
Some people adopt a "live and let live" attitude, while others (with some reason) think that giving poor questions answers reduces the overall quality of the site.
Personally, I'm a little ambivalent.

I wouldn't downvote an answer left to a low quality question, I'd focus on the question. But I wouldn't leave an answer, either.

user259867
Some people suffer from chronic answer incontinence, that's just a fact of life. When this is needed to get the question roomba'd, I'll downvote their answers... otherwise I ignore the answers and deal with the question.

Fair point. I'll remember that in the future.
Is it answers with 0 score or less that make it roomba-able?

user259867
@J.Steen Basically yes, but the complete rules are a bit more complicated.
