Anything I can do about an old answer (that's still high profile) with a downright incorrect accepted answer by a person who has left the site already?
It sure sucks yeah, I asked the same a little while ago for this question but policy is they don't want to remove incorrect answers. Except in extreme circumstances, but I don't know what the definition of that is.

ahh it is one of my own.... a site that my frequented tags are on topic, but frustratingly of no interest (and not worthy of research)
I figured that rather waste their (an my) time with unpopular questions (=unanswered), I would just nuke it and wait for a very topical site on A51 to come out of incubation
@Amaterasu Yeah, just contact us, doesn't take long to get done. Also, I hop between about 100 different things, if an employee lags in replying to you it's just because they're working their way back to whatever room they were in after doing something else.
@Amaterasu If they let me, a sharepoint dev, stay here despite the smell of sulphur and ashes I believe no one will have nothing to say against the sun goddess. Just please, leave the solar disk outside, chat room isn't fire proof.

One of the key problems that I see Software Recommendations having, is people asking extremely vague and simple questions that ultimately boil down to one of the two close reasons we see on the rest of the network...

The Software Recommendation site is now in public beta. All software recommendation questions will now be migrated there. If you see a new software recommendation question please flag it for migration. Please do not flag old questions as they are not allowed to be migrated.

@Bart Yeesh. Never seen that before. Looks like a problem to me, although I don't want to rush to say it's abuse, it could just be ignorance or confusion about how editing works here.
Yeah @Pops, I don't see any pattern of the same approvers. And I guess he only does it because it works. Proper reviews should have stopped that a long time ago.
We've noticed that you've been making series of very minor suggested edits to the same post within short amounts of time. This behavior is troubling for several reasons:
- Each edit you make uses up the time of our reviewers whom could be focusing on more substantial issues with our site, rather than reviewing a single tag edition or a slight indentation fix.
- Continued minor edits fill up the revision history for the post, making it harder to see how the post has changed over time and pushing it closer to an automatic community wiki state.
I believe this punches the reviewers hard enough:
