Perhaps something like "This isn't what SO is for. Stop trying to make SO something it's not. It's like you're using a band saw to chop an onion and complaining when people tell you you're doing it wrong."
Note: I have never tried to chop an onion with a band saw. For all I know, it works great. But I'm assuming that it doesn't, until proven otherwise.
@TheUnhandledException I'm always shamelessly begging for upvotes. I'll even make it a nicely formatted fixed-font if that'll get people to upvote everything I do :p
It appears that there has been no move to create a formalized official repository of recent changes, so for now, we will be keeping track of it ourselves.

@Fosco I realized that with the move of notifications from the envelope to the Global Inbox that the tab title change script you wrote for me wasn't doing the job anymore. How would I change it to notify off of the Global Inbox instead of or in addition to the envelope? The tricky part might be changing the right title since the Inbox is global.

Recently we have implemented OWASP security solutions with OWASP jar. After this Application is working fine in IE 7 and Firefox 3.5. But application is not working in Safari 4.0.5 and 5.0. In console it's showing the below message
"Possible CSRF Threat detected ! redirecting to login page....
I run a website where people can buy advertising. One of the rules is that the site to be advertised cannot have popup ads on it. Customer buys ads for a site with popups, and I e-mail him telling him I can't advertise that. His response: I have Google Toolbar with the popup blocker enabled, therefore there are no popups!

I don't mind if the compiler will catch bad calls for me, but to have another tool do something completely uncatchable by the compiler without draconian rules ... grrrr

@JoshsSocks There are discrepancies between how the chat handles people who are in the room when you're first joining versus if you're already here. I guess this is one of them.

Is chopping onions with a band-saw a good idea? Or will it just result in having people tell me I'm doing it wrong?
