I think you should know (or at least suppose) I would only be doing this where necessary. I've only actually wanted to do it twice, for the same reason both times.

@GeorgeMarian Heh. I have a horrible combination of needing everything to be incredibly organized, neat, clean and orderly and being a perfectionist, so I can never decide where the best place for something is or whether something is clean enough. (<sub>...also I'm kinda lazy.</sub>)
I moved 2 months ago and that seemed to trigger a huge spawn. So, I hadda move some of the fish into a new tank. Would've felt bad if I lost a bunch of them in the new tank. (Only one older fish lost so far.)
@PopularDemand Heh. I'm the same way. My problem is lacking enough space for all of my crap. Being dyslexic also means that I tend to prefer having my crap out where I can see it or a definite place for things otherwise.
I forsee many more fish in my future, now that I've been bitten by the bug. Initially, I didn't want anything to do with them, for various reasons. Then, the whole "if you want it done right, do it yourself" thing came into play. So, now I'm taking care of the damned fish. :)
I used to have tropical fish when I was younger, I think two neons, a tiger fish, and these shark-looking things that got much bigger than I expected, heh. Then Canada decided to go and have that major ice storm in 97/98....unfortunately that didn't end well.
I haven't given much though yet to power failure issues. Thankfully, that shouldn't be a huge issue here. (Ironically though, we've had 3 scheduled outages so far for work in the area.)
Since then I decided that it was more maintenance than I wanted at the moment. Fish are pretty easy on a day-to-day basis, but the tank cleaning is much more of a pain than I would have expected, heh. And you have to be very sensitive about the water conditions, especially for the tropical fish.
@GeorgeMarian Hahah, I remember when one of my neons had babies. Originally we just thought it was excessively fat, because they were supposed to all be the same sex...but then a while later I saw the little buggers swimming around.
The funny thing is we were worried that the move would put to much stress on the fish. We had to draw down the water twice and move them like that. So much for that concern. It likely caused the spawn. lol
2.0b4 fixes what I hope are the final front-end UI bugs, so the only remaining issues are with a backend output engine. so hopefully 2.0b5 will be the final beta and 2.0RC1 is right around the corner. Fingers crossed anyway :-)

Have you been able to confirm that the fix with the vendor works in the wild by the way, or you still have to wait for them to actually implement the code snippet?
The error handling is only important if something is wrong with the configuration, and the people who use this particular piece of software will very rarely even open the configuration, heh.
I want to collect all of the error messages possible so that I can provide the complete feedback instead of one item at a time, but it's hard to push that information up to where it needs to go at the moment since I haven't had much time to consider it. :P

Hey everyone. Very quick VMware Server question: my VMware server is starting to get low on disk space. One VM has a file " vm_name .vmem" in it's directory which ls -l tells me was last modified in 2008. Is it safe to delete that? There's a second .vmem file which is all hex digits and was modified Sept 29th 2010 which is probably when this Vm was last powered on
