Any ideas on prior art to support my answer to this?

Q: One single best answer or multiple answers in community wiki style questions?

Is it considered good practice to accumulate multiple answers into one or should one provide multiple answers in questions where no single correct answer could be defined? I think Jeff had a blogpost early on where he said that it was absolutely OK to take information from other answers and either improve your own or combine them.

@LasseVKarlsen Where does one earn such a black belt? I refer to that post a lot, but every time I have to remember where it's from and then Google with site:joelonsoftware.com for it.

@LasseVKarlsen FWIW I think other things that were "part of the charter from day 1" have now been rescinded, revoked, spun around, quietly forgotten... I'd need to read the specific text of the early posts for specific examples though.

@radp Some elements are smaller or in slightly different places than they are on "regular" SE sites, so it's harsher for us than for a brand-new user.

I really don't like how small the name/rep/badges/&c. bar text is, for example.
