you can define when it scans and when it doesn't and you can finely configure which features are active - it allows you to make the performance impact very bearable
we let the daily scan run in the lunch break, for instance

They are converting the Speedway street into a giant walking path, made of yellow bricks (pun). Unfortunately, many of the initial bricks were determined to not meet strength requirements, so they have to completely replace those

I first visited UT as an admitted student in February 2016, before they had even begun. Then, in July 2016, I went to orientation, and they were building near Jester and the road was completely blocked. So they set up a temporary south entrance to Gregory Gym near the pool and everyone who needed to walk up north had to pass through it
This is happening again, thanks to the faulty bricks. Thankfully, the brick maker paid for the extra labor, so it will still finish on time, but it's resulting in even more massive blockages than before, because there are two construction zones, @Catija

I have one of those Jack LaLanne juicers. Made several gallons of apple juice, and a gallon of carrot juice. Just gave me a sugar rush; still wasn't able to tow barges. But, I didn't pay for it, so can't call it a rip-off.
BTW, Goodwill stores are the best place to shop for special-use appliances; tons of people buy stuff that they think they'll use and then donate after it turns out they don't.

@Shog9 We were never big fans of juice... we got it as a health thing... juicing all sorts of random stuff... beets, citrus, cucumber, apple, etc... but it was a pain to clean and you throw away the fiber... so it seemed like a waste in the end.
