Besides that fact that chat's error page is ugly because it has no styling, it also steals borrows the error lolcat image from Stack Overflow.
Of course we hope that nobody ever sees that page, but I'm sure we agree that's not going to happen, so we could at least have our own image.
So, what p...
I have a laptop with Windows 7. I set all the usual volume control are at max (via the mixer), but there is a separate (hardware?) volume bar that is displayed whenever I change the volume, and it is at 50%.
Is there something I'm missing? How can I increase the volume further?

MathJax and syntax-highlighed code items on stackoverflow pages take forever to load (on the order of minutes) when accessed via a proxy server. There is no such slowdown on other websites using MathJax. Is there anything one can do to fix this?
I have found this issue reported and discussed her...
Currently on SO I found more the one tag for Office Open XML:
ooxml (76), openxml (341), office-open-xml (0 so far).
Also Wikipedia lists all of them:
Office Open XML (also informally known as OOXML or OpenXML) ..
Maybe merge all answers into the single one?
Currently wcf-service (23) is not a synonym to wcfservice (988). Please add.
Also I think that wcf-service should be main, and wcfservice - synonym.
Thanks.
yeah i can't even pretend to agree... since every browser has a javascript console, eval is everywhere, and not inherently dangerous. Could it be used in a dangerous fashion, sure, but so could document.write().
This link shows you that jQuery uses (new Function("return " + data))(); for older browsers, to parse a JSON string instead of eval().
What are the benefits of this? What if the JSON string isn't safe?
However, giving someone the power of eval who can't appreciate the power of eval will cause them to do dumb shit like "oh look, I can let you submit your own javascript, I should do that!!"
@balpha I was under the impression that the code was read into a database, then emitted into an iFrame as script/text, so not quite the same thing at all, no.
@Fosco if they would only die faster I would agree with you
getting involved with a javascript input handler... kind of surprised that it's not entirely straight-forward selecting between upper and lowercase characters..
