Python is constantly fith.

Python has printf?

You can use format, but grudgingly. They're different just to be different.
The point is they are not using the standard rounding functions but have have invented their own fith one.

user202362
perl is written in C, of course it has printf </troll>

2:09 AM
you had me laughing at perl

Jokeva has printf.
man 3 round

       These functions round x to the nearest integer, but round halfway cases
       away from zero (regardless of the current rounding direction, see fenv(3)),
       instead of to the nearest even integer like rint(3).

user315433

0.15 should be rounded to 0.2 according to "toward even" rule. But 0.15 < 3/20 in double precision, so it's not considered an edge case.

@Jamal That doesn't really work. :P For some reason, deleted messages still ping.
... and Shadow already said that. :/

At least by the built-in Python rounding. NumPy rounds 0.15 to 0.2

Yes
Just a quick check: this concern is not limited to only login, right? Due to non-ssl a MITM can post on behalf of the user?

Well, yeah. As long as you have the user cookies and details required by the system to post an answer, you could MITM the post

Ok, I was going to post that your account is safe because all that is done over ssl but that is kind of defeated by an MITM. And the title is somewhat confusing in that aspect
if not click-bait

I'm not a SO dev, so I really only understand as much of the system as can be understood from using it and reading some of the JS, so it's probably better to get some info from one of the Devs
theoretically, fkey, body content, post type and cookies should do it

I guess that's an honest question (even if it's click-baity) for those who really concern with the privacy

Yeah. My own attempts to move cookies did fail which probably only proves I'm not qualified as hacker
@Portal agree on that

8:36 AM
@rene flowers can't hack

I could probably modify the chat program I have to do a site post, but I don't know how to programmatically MITM

@Quill @Portal will be able to use it as well by stealing your cookies

SO and SE are different domains, they should have different cookies

@Quill should ...

cookies are domain specific, which is why they have to do a validation route by threading the login through SE
the values for my cookies on SE and SO are different, they're the same named cookies, just different values

@Quill oh, so you're giving only your SO cookies? :(

whoa, Jon nuked it

@ShadowWizard as I said, I own some of the localized Project Diva games (if you are wondering, those are some rhythm games based on Vocaloid songs), and while they are good, they haven't got a 1/10 of the contents the Japanese Project Diva ARCADE coin op has.
Project Diva Future Tone is basically the arcade game ported to ps4
as a results, it has a TON of songs.
And I mean a TON.
The "224 songs" I stated before wasn't a joke.

@ShadowWizard I know that the Kinder surprise eggs have different names in some countries. I was expecting them to be like the... "Here be dragons" lands version, not a fake

@Derpy nah, no different names I know of. Not legal anyway.
Didn't find in English, but Google made decent translation job

Wait, that is not a Kinder Surprise egg. That is Kinder Joy (which should be called Kinder "Merendero" in the original Italian variant)
so, yep thy even copied the "Joy" part

10:05 AM
@Derpy yeah, they're not really smart.... the cargo was hidden, they didn't expect the authorities to find it, and counted on people being stupid enough to not notice, or care, when in the shop already.

I agree, but am more concerned that no one prompted the asker for the information needed to make the question better (either for our site or for migration somewhere else). It is key to lead by example. programmers.stackexchange.com/q/312743 programmers.stackexchange.com/q/312761 programmers.stackexchange.com/q/312721 . I'm tired and done. Its someone else's turn now. Go through the recently closed list, check to see where there is confusion and better guidance for users. Thats what the 10k mod tools are for. — user40980 Mar 14 at 23:39

"It's someone else's turn now" is also my position concerning Math.SE. I'm done with its review queues and meta matters.

Lol why?

@Quill There was some concern I had that I meant to test and then…didn't? So either it wasn't important or I'll remember, but I'll figure it out one way or another this week. Feel free to bug me especially about things like PRs since I should action those in much more reasonable timeframes

meh, if they're not breaking changes, then don't really worry about timelines
