@ShadowTheKidWizard Well, the option is still linked in the help center and the contact form. If they really didn't want users to delete their own accounts, they would have taken down the page entirely and gone back to the old system that required users to contact SE.
I guess there were too many people who accidentally used the button and the support team was bogged down with complaints that "I accidentally deleted my account because of a bad UI".
@ShadowTheKidWizard Also, I'm wondering what your specific objection to this edit was. Was it the general policy of not having tags in titles, or is it the nature of it being time-based?
@ShadowTheKidWizard I would watch the heck out of a show where Jesse Eisenberg is pissed at SE/O inc/k for banning his robo-reviewing and rage-DDoS's SO
It's a business after all; Having the user count going down in monthly count would look very bad for the shareholders.
@JourneymanGeek oh, never watched.
@JourneymanGeek so yeah, can be funny to have such person attacking SE. ;)
@Randal'Thor it got nothing about tags in title. "temporary bug" is just noise, because it's beyond obvious the bug was temporary if it's fixed. You can also add [FIXED] and [SOLVED!!!1!], exact same level of noise. — Shadow The Kid Wizard9 mins ago
@Sonic if the issue is the paranoia it might spread to see there was a bug where mods could see who votes, better delete and redact the bug report itself. (and not post such bugs in public channels in the future?)
So only adding "DO NOT WORRY IT IS SOLVED" to the title would really help.
Quick totally something different... has anyone else noticed a font change in GMail? Different font family and size, they made it bigger? Or only for me, something with my browser?
I've always suffered a slight motion sickness so I'd always look outside when I was being driven around. Enabled me to memorize maps/directions of how to get to places
@ShadowTheKidWizard @Mithical RE meta.stackexchange.com/questions/381154/…: as a compromise, I propose "Moderators could briefly see individual votes from all users" as the title. Solves the objection of using a marker word in the title, and the issue of users who see the title from question lists and not clicking on to see that the bug was fixed assuming it's still ongoing.
