Hello World
@Catija hey there, just a quick question, was this done on purpose? Thanks, and have a great week! :)
(well, gave away 500 rep in any case.)

8:19 AM
and... down again?
I wonder if it's private person with lots of grudge against SE, or some professional hackers group, who keeps bringing SE down with DDoS attacks. :/
@forest might check with her contacts for the later, I guess...

@ShadowTheKidWizard Well, the option is still linked in the help center and the contact form. If they really didn't want users to delete their own accounts, they would have taken down the page entirely and gone back to the old system that required users to contact SE.
I guess there were too many people who accidentally used the button and the support team was bogged down with complaints that "I accidentally deleted my account because of a bad UI".
@ShadowTheKidWizard Also, I'm wondering what your specific objection to this edit was. Was it the general policy of not having tags in titles, or is it the nature of it being time-based?

9:25 AM
@ShadowTheKidWizard I would watch the heck out of a show where Jesse Eisenberg is pissed at SE/O inc/k for banning his robo-reviewing and rage-DDoS's SO

@ShadowTheKidWizard maybe user retention is a KPI now?

@ShadowTheKidWizard Nah, the grudge is on Facebook Meta, so...
2

@ShadowTheKidWizard his lol

12:45 PM
@rene possibly.
@JourneymanGeek 99.99% sure she said we can use both.
I'll have a search, anyway nothing in the profile to indicate preferred prefix.
@M.A.R. Jess who?
Sounds Jewish, but never heard of them.
Comedian?
@SonictheAnonymousHedgehog maybe just making it less visible, as too many users were deleting their profile.

@ShadowTheKidWizard plays Zuckerburg in the social network
also played a version of lex luthor I think

It's a business after all; Having the user count going down in monthly count would look very bad for the shareholders.
@JourneymanGeek oh, never watched.
@JourneymanGeek so yeah, can be funny to have such person attacking SE. ;)
@Randal'Thor it got nothing about tags in title. "temporary bug" is just noise, because it's beyond obvious the bug was temporary if it's fixed. You can also add [FIXED] and [SOLVED!!!1!], exact same level of noise. — Shadow The Kid Wizard 9 mins ago
@Sonic if the issue is the paranoia it might spread to see there was a bug where mods could see who votes, better delete and redact the bug report itself. (and not post such bugs in public channels in the future?)
Otherwise, it's just another bug.

@ShadowTheKidWizard more of...
people get confused lol
I once had a ongoing conversation where everyone got everything wrong
until someone put a corrected timeline
and people kept getting it wrong

@JourneymanGeek to think it's still a current bug? Well, those people also won't read the "temporary" properly and still be certain the bug is active.

12:55 PM
So only adding "DO NOT WORRY IT IS SOLVED" to the title would really help.
Quick totally something different... has anyone else noticed a font change in GMail? Different font family and size, they made it bigger? Or only for me, something with my browser?

Gmail has " improved" indeed last week

Found it!

I've heard people refer to me as both she/her and he/him. Frankly I don't care which one is used.
@Journeyman ^
@rene rofl

also I THINK forest's expressed an opinon on it?

@JourneymanGeek where? Chat?

@ShadowTheKidWizard probably here

1:33 PM
@JourneymanGeek well better wait for them to come over, I guess... ;)
argh
walking to Prefix Center slowly

1:56 PM
you mean pronoun?

@JourneymanGeek yep. doing restart after a week without browsing internet (was in vacation last week)

I did use the phone, but just for playing a bit, didn't even read news.
My kids, on the other hand, didn't leave their phone for a second. While riding trains, while riding bus, while in the room to "rest", etc. lol

My son even tried eating and playing in his phone in the same time, but wife yelled at him until he stopped trying. :P
(daughter already knew better and didn't try, or maybe she's just more disciplined ;))

I've always suffered a slight motion sickness so I'd always look outside when I was being driven around. Enabled me to memorize maps/directions of how to get to places

8:51 PM
@SonictheAnonymousHedgehog that's useful. I always look outside anyway, but could never memorize any map/direction. ;)

10:29 PM
I could memorize directions/places, but very sux at remembering names...

@ShadowTheKidWizard @Mithical RE meta.stackexchange.com/questions/381154/…: as a compromise, I propose "Moderators could briefly see individual votes from all users" as the title. Solves the objection of using a marker word in the title, and the issue of users who see the title from question lists and not clicking on to see that the bug was fixed assuming it's still ongoing.
