@PopularDemand But what's the actual issue? Is it that the starred list entries are just not as good as they could be, or is it that images don't deserve stars?
Per-site metas don't. Stack Overflow has its own, Meta Stack Overflow has its own and the rest of the sites share one chat site with different window dressing.
@cdeszaq i really got the idea of meta chats, but thought that every chat has to be in the main site "chat list" listed... so that is my fault thinking on that
@Neysor The only real "rules" are the ones in the FAQ, but in general, if you ask on-topic questions and are nice and open to new ideas, there's not too much to it.
@Neysor Well, most of the people that "hang out" on Meta have been around for quite a while and, in general, care as much (or possibly more) about the site itself than about the content on the site.
@Neysor And having "known" each other for so long and the meta "community" being relatively smaller, there's lots of inside jokes, heated "debates", etc.
@Neysor Every community is different, but if you decide you like it here, then welcome! (fair warning: we're all rather strange in our own special way. Much like snowflakes)
@Jim i think, if you have a question, which others see a value to answer, it shouldn't be deleted. some other people could think that it has a value for them too :)
I don't think it should be permanently deleted, but I needed a question that had answers, so I could edit the answers to (temporarily) artificially inflate my edit count to check if it would go back down once they are deleted
(Didn't realize I can't delete my own question once it has been answered)

@cdeszaq Was my original course of action, but it's been up for two weeks without a definitive answer (and now I'm down to having most of it answered, except for edits)
I have plans to make a Unicorn script which will notify you via your SE global inbox and chat when flags are posted. I have the plan hashed out in my head and briefly mentioned it in the Teacher's Lounge, however, have not started on the code yet.
However, this would only benefit you if you were...
LOL My dad just sent me his "index.htm" file which is this massive block of JavaScript which from the looks of it shows some media file, with the following message: "Jay built this and I uploaded it but it doesn't work. Can you tell what is wrong with it?"
And... of course it uses a relative file path for it so I can't even test to see if it's actually working and they're not just being morons.
I bet if I ask him "Did you upload the SWF file too?" he'll look at me funny and go "oh yeah..."
