@JourneymanGeek If you read the backscroll, of the conversation with staff and moderator, the dig is at people who do the deed not the persons receiving the incorrect input. It's very clear from the lengthy conversation that you've replied to a comment in isolation without considering the context.

@Luuklag It's the manual downotes, not automatically given for a flag, that lead to a number which makes it hard to determine how many more flags are needed - arguably doing both (double downvoting) is a bug, because you get to vote twice. --- I went through them and added MS or site flags too.

@Rob I know, I wish people didn't do that. But at the same time there are people that just drop a random downvote on such a post because they think its off-topic and do nothing else

...Jokes aside, this may be good for you since some leaks seem to hint that the two game may be planned for some connection / pokemon sharing.

@SPArcheon Oh, there is already some sharing going on. If you have a Diamond save file, you can catch a Darkrai in Arceus

@Tinkeringbell that is just save game bonus. Someone noticed there is code related to regular pokeballs in Arceus.

@SPArcheon Oh well, it's no secret that both Diamond and Arceus will at one point become compatible with pokémon home. If that's the case, the regular pokeball stuff could just be so you can transfer stuff from one game to the other (including maybe transferring stuff from let's go and sword/shield?)

Let's just say that some leaks seems to indicate Arceus may get some time travel shenanigans in the dlc.

and considering some already assume the Akari in Arceus is actually the same Dawn from Diamond...

@SPArcheon I had to Google that :P I'm playing as a female character named Tink so I only see Lucas in Diamond showing up, as NPC

Yeah, but that means I didn't know/recognize this :P

There's so much stuff I don't know XD I bought the Switch in a 'Let's go Pikachu' skin/color scheme, so it came with a Let's go game and an extra controller shaped like a poke ball. Just recently someone told me that there was a Mew programmed into that controller that I could claim in the let's go game XD

Been playing that game for ... as long as I have my Switch (june 2019), and I just never used that ball as a controller as I didn't really like it, so I never learned about that before XD

I think the whole idea of 'legendary pokémon being very hard to get' is getting a bit more relaxed with brilliant diamond, but I don't know for sure. It seems the Ramanas park allows for quite a few to be caught.

Yeah, I should get a version of sword/shield someday and start learning the new names :P

And I skipped pretty much all of generation VI on the DS, as that's when they introduced Pokémon bank and no way am I going to pay just to get enough storage to keep one of everything :D

@Tinkeringbell there have been some weird info about Bank recently.

Apparently it is going to shut down Q1 2023 when the Wii U / DS eshops are closed

Wouldn't seem too weird to me, since if you close the e-shop you can no longer have a place to buy the subscription?

@SPArcheon I think they'll focus on pokemon home. As far as I've been told, that's the replacement they've used for a while now, for the latest games.

Well they only just announced they'll be closing that e-shop today (or at least it only reached the news here tody) so it wouldn't surprise me if this kind of speculation will last for a bit. I usually just wait ;)

At the moment, I am more intrigued about the possible implications of the Arceus datamine unused maps.

It seems that the chat room search feature is not working. The search result always displays "0 messages found". It is not displaying messages that contain the search query, even if those messages are visible when viewing the chat room itself. I tested this in The Water Cooler, The Sphinx's Lair,...
