@ThiefMaster I have the opposite argument. As the domain now belongs to SE Inc., if they typo that domain it'll direct them to one of their own sites rather than a malicious typosquatter.
@ThiefMaster it was waaaay worse before, with the various domains seeming like the usual phishing variations (stackoverflowsolutions.com just screams phishing to me) and not linked off of stackoverflow.com
Here they take samples from the test that have been run positive periodically, and then determine the variants. It's quite a complicated process from what I understood.
@Tinkeringbell oh, you are right, but you are thinking about regular toys. These are just display figures a Japanese company made. Collector items, like every Japanese cartoon/comic one. The difference is that in this case they decided for some reason to use characters from an American show.
@Luuklag Nah. But I had some lower quality barbies as a kid and the hair would always come off, and then there'd be this one strand that was bent or not falling in line and...
The one I got from my brothers a while back says 'bandai' on the packaging (yeah, I got one and haven't taken it out of the packaging yet, haven't had time for it XD)
there's a continuing trickle but they are quickly flagged and deleted for the most part
the thing to look out for is when autoflagging fails for some reason (like it apparently did around an hour ago for one of these) and if they start spewing a new number which is not yet blacklisted (but even then we seem to have enough to autoflag, generally speaking)
