To be fair... I still don't mind it. I always thought I'd hate it, because you don't see your coworkers in real life. But it turns out the benefits outweigh that downside :D

I read a year or so back that that's the premier way for people to install apps in India

(also, there's a few coworkers that I definitely don't miss seeing in real life)

they don't download stuff from the app-store there, but go to a shop which ports the apk file, that might be years old, over to your phone.

@Luuklag Also, yeah, that seems like it's not worth keeping. The answers seem largely unhelpful and I don't see any lasting value here. The score's a problem for the del-vote threshold though, unless a mod wanted to snap it out of existence.
